Seems like a pretty weird lie. They planned out this kidnapping a lot, right? Then they had to plan what they'd say. Murder's a pretty weird thing to mention. Outta all the things there could be, why murder? Why not say that somebody was secretly a vampire or a cop or a billionaire?

Not that I know for sure or anything. It's all just so weird.
