Alright, kiddos!! Gather up in the cafeteria for your first event!

[ The cafeteria tables are arranged differently now, long tables pushed to the edges of the room and filled with finger foods and drinks, and the center of the room open except for a bunch of tall, small round tables which are empty except for a stack of cards, but about the right size and height for two people to put drinks on as they stand around.

Vanilla is also standing on one of the tables with a bullhorn. ]

We're starting with a classic! Speed dating! You'll have five minutes each round! When the horn goes off, that's your cue to switch it up and talk to someone else! If you need some conversation starters, try one of the questions on those cards!

...Or don't! You can do whatever you want, I'm not your mom. I'm going with 'uncle' for now!

( The structure here is pretty casual:

- Thread! You can ask more questions if you want.

My friend's a college professor these days, but even when we were kids, he knew everything about science. So we'd stargaze a lot, and I remember one time, he taught me about the pinhole theory while we watched a solar eclipse together. Another time, he told me about how rabbits couldn't survive on the moon because it had no atmosphere.

[He smiles a little at the memory.] I didn't care about that science stuff when I was a kid, I just remembered being worried about the rabbits if there was no air for them. I guess even after Ryo explained it I didn't really get it...

Over ten years. We met when we were kids, and we stayed in touch, even though we moved away to different countries.

...The questions you had to talk about honestly sound a lot scarier than Komaeda could ever be. I'm sorry these cards are so weird. [Blood and kidnapping, Jesus. Somebody save her.] I'm glad you're having a good time, though.

[The question makes him dart his gaze away. It's honestly been nice to meet everybody, but the idea of dating them... It makes his face turn red.]

...Maybe. I'm still not completely sure.

[He might be a little more sure than that, actually, but it's too embarrassing to say.]

It's alright; I am proud of my family and the lessons they provided me. It's just a little painful, that's all.

Yeah. A lot of people don't understand Ryo, but we've been through a lot together. Do you have anyone like that?

I wasn't lucky enough to get really close to anyone until some time in the past few years. But... I have people I've been through a lot with, who I'd do anything for. So yeah, I think so.

. . . That's correct. It is out of necessity, in God's plan that He sacrificed His one and only Son - it is truly a painful, sorrowful thing. But in that, it gives us humans opportunity - a light in the darkness, a chance for salvation. As Jesus died and was reborn, so can we, in Christ.

Well - I don't know if it's the worst habit, but I have a tendency to meddle when I shouldn't. Still, I don't regret doing so, or rather even if given the chance to reverse such a dead I would not.

Ah, that's true. I guess we'll get the chance to hang out more later, since they seem to want us all to spend time together.

[ Reyson would be getting strong pings if it was romantic to be using that particular power. As it is, Sudoh's coming off as wolfish, but those aren't wolf ears or anything, so. In hindsight he's going to conclude that Sudoh was in fact only raised by wolves. ]

I'm not overly familiar with their kind. How would you describe them?

More ridiculous things to mess with us, I guess. [He thinks back to the beginning of this ordeal in general, and then to the... presents waiting in their rooms, face getting a little red.] Yeah... I guess I shouldn't be hoping for any better.

[But his relief is a tangible thing as he sighs and smiles. Sonia is the hero they needed.]

That's definitely a lot better, though. If I had to change something... [He pauses to give it some more thought, just in case something else comes to mind, but Hinata is pretty sure of what his answer is.] ...It would be remembering what my talent is. My real one, and not... the stupid, fake one they gave me in this place.

[His eyebrow twitches just thinking about it, so Hinata shoves that thought to the side. This place is out to personally attack him, he's sure of it.]

Sometimes it's... a little hard, going from day to day and not knowing that about myself. [He admits that softly, but his voice brightens with what follows.] But once I remember it, I'm sure I'll be able to walk proudly.

What about you, Sonia? Is there anything you'd change?

My circumstances did not offer much opportunity to gain friendship. [ Sonia looks thoughtful. ] However collecting materials together was rather pleasant.

[ She's got very little okay... ]

Um. [ She turns the next card. ] "What’s your worst habit?"

But now that you mention it, I wonder if you have these things confused with tsukumogami? That is, an object that became a yokai after existing for 100 years.
