he's never wrestled someone with wings before. he knows that reyson will come to tackle his midsection, given how he's moving, and he knows that he can pick him up and suplex him, but - how does he pick him up with reyson's wings in the way? even if he were able to do so, then what would he do? he could throw him over his shoulder, but the landing of it will certainly damage reyson's wings; driving his head into the mat is completely out of the picture, obviously. perhaps he could grab his clothes by the back and then flip him over - ? no, that still doesn't solve the problem of his wings. could he just do it anyway?

no, he shouldn't. he can't 100% be certain as to why, but there's a feeling in his gut that tells him not to -

so right before the impact, ruler kicks up his own feet, so that when reyson hits him - not a full-on collision either, though close enough that someone who isn't familiar with physical fighting wouldn't be able to tell the difference of weight - ruler will crash onto his back, hitting the mat at once. ]
