Thousands of years ago, our tribes were once one people, but we split again and again over time. Living apart makes it easier to look down upon and despise each other, however, and recently, there were massive wars in quick succession, strong enough to wake the Goddess Ashera from her long slumber.

We've been holding onto peace since then, and making attempts to strengthen ties before the memory of war passes beyond the current generation. It's rare for many of different tribes to live together, and it's common for the needs of one tribe to conflict with that of another -

[ This is his job, he's been enjoying the break in some respects, but look, this is on his mind a lot these days ]

For instance, hawks have the habit of screaming while they hunt, or for joy, but the sound terrifies the horses that beorc must ride upon and use to plow.
