Trash Squad Day 11-12: SECRETS REVEAL

When midnight comes, you blink, feel a swell of disorientation, and when you open your eyes... it's to complete darkness. As far as your other senses go, though, you appear to be seated somewhere comfortable, and there's a very distinct smell... of popcorn?

Then a screen lights up, and it becomes clear you're in the auditorium, with front-row views of the giant projection screen set up on the stage, currently displaying bright cheerful text: GET-TO-KNOW-YOU MIDNIGHT VIEWING PARTY!!

There's nothing stopping you from getting up, but the doors to get out or into the control room where the projector is set up are locked tight. You have about five minutes before the show starts to figure out that it seems like you'll be trapped here until the full compilation of the secrets people didn't reveal is finished.

At least there is in fact a popcorn stand set up at the edge of the room...? Grab some and settle in!

[Niwatori is popcorning this kind of passively. In the end she protected her secrets, and it's not that much different from spying on people with her birds after all. She'll even break the silence with idle comments to anyone who's around her, in a nervous rambling sort of way. It doesn't come off particularly like she's enjoying herself, more like helping the time pass faster.

Although when Reyson punches that guy in his ugly face, she does cover her own and start laughing...]

[ Some of this is not actually as much of a surprise to her (she knew half of Ruler's already, Yuri... well, she knew she struggled with people... though there are a few things like Sayori's and Reyson's that are Big Surprises. She didn't know much about Tatsuya either but... given the smaller details Yusuke gave her already she isn't as surprised about that either.

It's. Uncomfortable and she kind of is just waiting to bolt when the videos finish. ]

[Going to bed having officially lost her nerve to show two of her secrets sets her on edge enough that when she wakes up in the viewing room, Sayori immediately gets up and attempts to leave. When she's unsuccessful, Sayori, surprisingly, does not fall into a desperate panic. Instead, with her shoulders slumped and her feet dragging, she takes up that popcorn offer and finds a seat in the very back.

With a truly absurd amount of popcorn surrounding her, Sayori keeps her eyes firmly on the floor, snacking in a steady, continuous rhythm.

She may be disassociating a bit. A Bit.]

[ It's not like the secrets were too extreme to share, but...

....he really should have been better about doing it. Tatsuya watches his videos with a blank expression, though he averts his eyes for everyone else's. ]

[yusuke goes to sit next to him, not saying anything, but he puts his hand on the armrest between them]

Well, whether that happened or not isn't particularly important. But, I did choose to let these secrets go.

You mean, you didn't mind if people saw them? Is that some kind of strategy...?

[She tilts her head, considering. Half-joking:]

I guess you do have nice hair in this one.

To have been executed, then summoned beyond death only to fight in a war... I am amazed you can still smile the way you do, when your grip on this realm is so tenuous.

I think "strategy" ascribes too much intent on my end . . . . It's rather that I don't care to be forced to confess secrets for the entertainment of someone else, so I decided to have these no longer be secrets.

[ a beat ]

Ah, thank you. It isn't terribly bothersome to me, though it does get looks from strangers.

[pecker]

[She'll just nod understandingly in response to his decision. She did find out the hard way that participating in secret-sharing came with its own issues.]

I'm used to the color by now, but the length was different... at least your real name still includes Shirou-san, on the topic of different things.

[Though she's not sure how many other people have called him that in this game. He's the only one that went for calling her Ryouka.]
