[ Maybe you were going about your business and blacked out, maybe you were dead. Either way, when you come to, you are in what looks like the entrance hall to a school, except for the very well secured front door. Before you can really get your bearings, a voice rings out on an the intercom. ]

Welcome, kiddos! —How does that sound? 'Kiddos'? Too daddy kink? Eh, let's go with it for now. Anyway, welcome to a once-in-a-lifetime chance at romance and passion, with fabulous prizes! Find love beyond the boundaries of time and space! Original concept, do not steal.

Pick up your tablets and get settled in! A little later today, we'll have our first heart-pounding get-to-know-you event!

—Oh, also, no violence allowed! I know some of you kids are into the murder thing, but that's not the kind of game we're running here.

[ In fact, there are several boxes of electronic tablets around the room. When you pick one up, it displays the gameplay and rules.]

[ Kind of... gently... plucks at the knot closest to the wrists, on the assumption that beorc enjoy their opposable thumbs, that's a good start? He doesn't want to slip up and stab him, it's not a good hooked hawk beak but he could totally puncture all that soft featherless flesh quite easily. He is very fierce. ]

[But he does feel the restraints on his wrists loosening up, so whatever this bird man is doing is very helpful.]

[ Fibers part here and there, he's getting the hang of it! He can't give any progress updates because he can't speak any standard language like this and also has his beak full of rope half the time but there's some triumphant trilling going on back there. ]

[The lack of conversation is fine. He can literally feel the progress, as slow as it is.]

[Kiyo is assuming that's a positive bird noise.]

[He winces in pain at first, but as the rope is loosened his legs lower back to the floor.]

[ Fair assumption. Kiyo may enjoy the sensation of getting his hands back. As well as the occasional beaky pressure because Reyson's almost done and is getting sloppy in his eagerness to finish. He's already wearing bandages, it's fine. ]

[The bandages only go down to his forearms. They do not protect the rest of the body.]

[ Sorry, sorry, he's not used to beorc being so flimsy and lacking the armor plates. Shedding a small amount of blood is an acceptable price to pay for freedom, anyway.

Kiyo could probably wriggle out of the rest of this himself at this point, it's well-loosened by all the plucking and pecking. ]

[But, yeah, he's gonna go ahead and slip out of there, trying not to knock the bird over as he starts to get up.]
