Trash Squad Day 1 - GAME START

[ Maybe you were going about your business and blacked out, maybe you were dead. Either way, when you come to, you are in what looks like the entrance hall to a school, except for the very well secured front door. Before you can really get your bearings, a voice rings out on an the intercom. ]

Welcome, kiddos! —How does that sound? 'Kiddos'? Too daddy kink? Eh, let's go with it for now. Anyway, welcome to a once-in-a-lifetime chance at romance and passion, with fabulous prizes! Find love beyond the boundaries of time and space! Original concept, do not steal.

Pick up your tablets and get settled in! A little later today, we'll have our first heart-pounding get-to-know-you event!

—Oh, also, no violence allowed! I know some of you kids are into the murder thing, but that's not the kind of game we're running here.

[ In fact, there are several boxes of electronic tablets around the room. When you pick one up, it displays the gameplay and rules.]

[ At least she isn't calling herself the Ultimate Princess as well, that would be confusing when anyone actually checks her profile later. ]

Hmm, actually... with introductions complete, may I ask why you were really staring at that door if you are not able to shoot lasers or set off explosives?

[ She looks at it with a frown, the weaponry concerns her but she won't bring up why at the moment. ]

I see. I heard from someone else something about that, though not in too much detail.

[ She's being way too calm despite that though, still smiling. Being royalty has its downsides in that you can be kidnapped for political leverage, after all. It's worse than this situation. ]

If you do not wish to speak about it I understand, but I am willing to listen if you would like.

[. . . he sighs. no point in keeping it a secret. the others have already spoken at length about the murder raccoon part of this game, so he might as well]

Let's just say that round one of this game was a little less. . . [eeeeh wags his hand back and forth in a so-so gesture] Friendly?

That is what I heard, yes. [ She sighs as well. ] There may be guns at the door, but they are not against our head at this moment in time. If it comes to it, I will do whatever I can to ensure everyone's safety. You all may not be my people, but it is something that is required of me.

[ Not really but apparently it's happening anyway. ]

[ Well this version of her hasn't lived through a killing game, so it's easier to be upbeat about this. ]

I suppose putting it like that makes it seem as though I do not have a choice, yes? That is not the case, I assure you. I am more than happy to do my part, requirement, or no.

[she can't see it because he's keeping his composure, but a part of him flinches when he says those words. curious!!]

[ It's fine, even if she can't tell that's what she's a pro at too -- keeping her composure while being terrified. She may not have lived through a killing game, but her history of being kidnapped by insurgents is still true. It isn't like she has no idea of what this could turn into. ]

Where I am from contracts were often drafted to ensure ties between two parties. It may feel more formal, but there is sense to it.

[ It isn't the same but... stares into the distance. Better than what else she could come out with for this. ]

Of course! Hopefully it will amount to nothing, but I feel the same way. There are very few people I know here, so I would like to at least try and speak to everyone and find out how they are feeling.

There are a few I know here as well. Some of them I met in the first round of this game, and others I know from home. There's no reason why we can't coordinate with them, too.

Exactamente, I would not dissuade you from encouraging them, also. The more people working together, the better. That is something Usami taught me back home.
