Welcome, kiddos! —How does that sound? 'Kiddos'? Too daddy kink? Eh, let's go with it for now. Anyway, welcome to a once-in-a-lifetime chance at romance and passion, with fabulous prizes! Find love beyond the boundaries of time and space! Original concept, do not steal.

Pick up your tablets and get settled in! A little later today, we'll have our first heart-pounding get-to-know-you event!

—Oh, also, no violence allowed! I know some of you kids are into the murder thing, but that's not the kind of game we're running here.

Tibarn is in fine form - perhaps restless, in peacetime, but I suppose this new ordeal will put an end to that. I can only hope he doesn't blame Naesala for my disappearance.

[ Speaking of unpleasant people? Okay, that's unfair, Naesala's nowhere near rotten as Oliver, just. Vexing at best and a disaster on wings at worst. And at best - well, Leanne likes him. So does Reyson, mostly. It's complicated, there were some war crimes. But also, Leanne. ]

...Naesala's become rather important to my family, after all. There's been no formal announcement, but I might become an uncle.

Maybe I'm just dense, but I had no idea. But after everything that happened, it's good that they found happiness.

I know my sister was looking to make a life with Boyd, and a couple people in the army were getting together, but settling down is something I haven't even stopped to think on.

Which makes me wonder why I'm here. Romance, and no violence? I am the farthest thing from suitable to this.

I suppose it's selfish of me to leave the future of the herons solely in my sister's nest, but I'd sooner not do so at the whims of these creatures.
