Alright, kiddos!! Gather up in the cafeteria for your first event!

[ The cafeteria tables are arranged differently now, long tables pushed to the edges of the room and filled with finger foods and drinks, and the center of the room open except for a bunch of tall, small round tables which are empty except for a stack of cards, but about the right size and height for two people to put drinks on as they stand around.

Vanilla is also standing on one of the tables with a bullhorn. ]

We're starting with a classic! Speed dating! You'll have five minutes each round! When the horn goes off, that's your cue to switch it up and talk to someone else! If you need some conversation starters, try one of the questions on those cards!

...Or don't! You can do whatever you want, I'm not your mom. I'm going with 'uncle' for now!

( The structure here is pretty casual:
- Make a top level
- Tag some people! Optionally, start off with a question from the deck of suggestions!
- Thread! You can ask more questions if you want.
- Try to keep threads around 10 comments from you maximum. This isn’t a hard limit, but assume a bullhorn goes off around there to signal a switch.
- Pace yourself, kids, this runs until Thursday. )

Laguz don't interpret crime quite as you might; there's few laws set in stone for us. I did, however, fight against our goddess of order once. I'd do it again, had I reason.

[ Just casually dropping that out there, it's not like it's not extremely common knowledge in Tellius. ]

[ Reyson is making a lot of assumptions now. Whether any of them are correct remain to be seen. ]

...Is your friend another wolf?

[I guess now is a good time to point out that if Reyson gets pings, Sudoh does absolutely come across as a wolf rather than a human. That's a thing.

He seems surprised though, and shakes his head.]

No, she's human. Beorc, I guess? But she fought this wolf, and was the one who lived.

[ Reyson would be getting strong pings if it was romantic to be using that particular power. As it is, Sudoh's coming off as wolfish, but those aren't wolf ears or anything, so. In hindsight he's going to conclude that Sudoh was in fact only raised by wolves. ]

You know, I wonder if it should? I hadn't really thought about it. Wolves saved my life and kept me near, even while I was wearing this, so I wonder if it's with me too, since she and I are so alike...

Wolves are rather more open and generous with their hospitality than you'd expect by reputation - this woman, is she a family member?

Yeah, they took me in for about half a year. They probably would've let me stay forever.

She's... maybe? I honestly don't know, but we're related one way or another.

As plain wolves, I'm sure they enjoyed having someone with hands around. My brother tells me they enjoy being scratched behind the ears.

Do I like ear-scritches? Dunno, can't say I've ever tried them. Hugs are nice, though.
