[Kiyo's taking a break from bingo after seeing something no mortal man could ever un-see. To take his mind off things (and probably apologize to Akira for staring so much) he decided to visit some other parts of the school.]

[Good lord, what a mess. Everything smells burnt, nothing was spared. And this place used to be a library?]

What a shame... To think they could at least restore this beautiful room to its former glory...

[He picks up a strange book and starts reading... And reading... And reading.]

[... He's reading a train wreck. Help.]

[Exploring further into the school, he comes across a small room housing a shrine for two colorful raccoons.]

[He carefully steps around the garbage rotting near the altar, feeling very lucky to be wearing a mask right now, and gingerly inspects the chalice.]

A chalice...? Now what could have been in this cup? A sacrifice, perhaps...?

That shrine there is how we sent stuff to the dead people.

[He turns around to face Rin... Yes, someone who was here before.]

The dead people from your game, you mean?

[He held onto the chalice as he spoke.]

Were you able to speak with them this way?

Not really 'speak' with them, no. But stuff we threw in here ended up where the ghosts were. So like one time someone threw some coffee beans in there, and it ended up in the ghost-library.

I see... So there is an afterlife... In this world, at least.

[He seems to gaze longingly into the cup...]

... Do you think it would work now? I think we could use this to contact the dearly departed of our own worlds...

Nah. There's no fire in it now.

[He definitely remembers that part.]

Yep! Magic ghost fire. But it looks like that's gone now.
