Yesterday, I had been physically touched more during the bingo game than I have in the past sixteen years of my life. That is an approximation--it could have been for my entire life. But I like to imagine my mother was affectionate with her infant son before she passed away.

There is more. Last night, after I had calmed down some, and was resting in bed... I felt something else. I did not feel afraid. I could not understand what it was at first, but then suddenly I started to laugh. And it was joyous. It was wonderful. I think I must have been feeling elation. It was the same feeling when I first realized I was free of Sensei's chains, and it was the same feeling I felt when the Phantom Thieves defeated Yaldabaoth, it was the same feeling I felt when Akira's sentence was reduced and he was able to come home.

Everything that happened yesterday overwhelmed my senses. I spent a great deal of time feeling alarmed and confused. But I think I understand myself a little better now... and I want to try experiencing new things.

[and it is. yusuke feels something warm in his chest and he sighs a little, his lips tingling but in a good way]

[yusuke keeps his eyes closed, wrapped up in the feeling between the two of them, and parts his lips with a soft exhaled "oh"]
