I don't want someone to wait for me, though. Everyone's got their own life to live, and nobody gets enough time already. I don't want to take years and years of someone's time like that.

. . . For myself, in such a situation, I wouldn't mind if I must wait for an eternity. But even so, I can, and do still live my own life.

But, I suppose it's a matter of perspective.
