[ Today the cafeteria looks different again, most of the tables cleared out and the space full of pillows, blankets, and love sacs of various sizes. Around the time everyone gets there, Vanilla pops up in the front of the room.. ]

Do you know what one of the most important things in a relationship is? Honesty! Do you know what some others are? Trust! Self-confidence! Communication! A sense of adventure! Sexual compatibility!

...What was I talking about? Oh, right! Today's event is truth or dare! You know how it works! Find someone and ask them if they want a truth or a dare! If they pick truth, ask them any question and they have to tell the truth. If they pick dare, tell them do do anything and they have to do it. Then it's their turn. Try to ask around!

And... I've got something special for you!

[ Vanilla pulls a sheet off a table to reveal a bunch of tiny plastic bottles, each about the size to hold one sip of liquid. ]

The blue ones are Vanilla's Famous Vanilla-Flavored One-Shot Truth Serum! One truthful statement guaranteed! The red ones are Sarsaparilla's Tequillas! Pure liquid courage - give yourself the extra kick you need to get out of your comfort zone!

...You don't have to drink these if you trust each other and are confident in yourself, but in the spirit of honesty in our relationship, I'm willing to make a trade. If all these shots are drunk by nighttime, I'll give you proof the people eliminated and disqualified are safe!

[ The truth serum, as you would expect, makes you tell the truth. The "tequillas" aren't actually alcoholic, but they do make you feel much braver. Both generally only last the length of one answer/dare, but some of them might last a little longer... chinchillas don't practice good quality control. ]

Hmm... for this one, I would say--amusement. I was pleased that we were no longer fighting, and I've come to find you an interesting and amusing presence.

Yeah? Well that's good. You're not too bad of a guy yourself, you know? And you're REALLY good at this drawing stuff. I bet you could draw something without looking at it, huh?

I often do, but it's often a test of mental fortitude. If I want the best possible picture, I need a model.

..say, um. If I describe someone to you, do you think you could draw them? It's okay to say no if it's too hard to do.

It would be quite difficult for me to do so based on description alone... but it sounds like an interesting challenge.

It's alright! Even if it's not perfect, just trying is enough. Can we do it now?

[he goes over to a love sac with his sketchbook and opens it, at the ready]

[Rin sits down, and he thinks over it a bit before he starts. It's been over a month for him since he heard these words, so he has to struggle to remember exactly what was said.]

Okay. It's a woman, but not too old of a woman. So like, mid-20s or so. She's got a face like mine and eyes like mine, but it's...kinder? Like, she's always smiling. That kind of thing. In fact, she looks like she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Um...her hair should be long, and dark like mine is. Oh! And she has moles on her face too. Um...under her eye and on her chin, I think?

[Basically he is describing this woman here, though it's a secondhand description so it might not be 100% accurate. He also sounds a little anxious as he describes her too.]

[yusuke listens to rin's description, studying his face for a similar structure to build off of, and nods before he gets to work]

You said two moles, one under her eye and on her chin? Which eye?

Left one?

[He sounds unsure, but that's where Yukio's moles are, so maybe hers was like that too.]

[yusuke takes note and continues]

Are there any more details you can provide?

No, that's all I really know...

[He wishes he could have seen a picture or something, but nope. He's got nothing.]

Very well. It's not much to go off of, but I can extrapolate enough.

[sketch sketch sketch... does rin wish to peer over and see how it's going?]

[You know it! He definitely wants to see how it looks even if it's a work in progress.]

[he's focusing on her eyes and expression right now, the other elements of the picture rough outlines. he wants to get the kindness of her face to be the thing that identifies her most of all, and from that he's filling in the blanks with certain aspects of rin's face: cheekbones, dimples, nose size, etc.

so it's coming along, and it looks like he's going to draw just what rin said--but is it what rin wants to see...?]

[It's hard to say, since Rin isn't speaking during this. But as the drawing becomes more and more complete, a small, fond smile appears on Rin's face.

As do two narrow tracks of tears running down his face. But they are probably happy tears? Maybe?]

[yusuke doesn't notice until he's basically done, but he glances up to tell rin something and stops, eyes widening]

[He hasn't even realized he was crying yet.]

Is this upsetting you?

[That's when he sniffs and wipes at his face, and he feels the tears, and his face falls. Maybe this is a little upsetting. ]

Do not apologize. Why did you ask for this portrait in particular? Who is this woman?

[The fact that he is going by a secondhand description of what she looks like should explain why his face is wet.]

[yusuke gets quiet as he puts some painfully familiar pieces together]
