[ Today the cafeteria looks different again, most of the tables cleared out and the space full of pillows, blankets, and love sacs of various sizes. Around the time everyone gets there, Vanilla pops up in the front of the room.. ]

Do you know what one of the most important things in a relationship is? Honesty! Do you know what some others are? Trust! Self-confidence! Communication! A sense of adventure! Sexual compatibility!

...What was I talking about? Oh, right! Today's event is truth or dare! You know how it works! Find someone and ask them if they want a truth or a dare! If they pick truth, ask them any question and they have to tell the truth. If they pick dare, tell them do do anything and they have to do it. Then it's their turn. Try to ask around!

And... I've got something special for you!

[ Vanilla pulls a sheet off a table to reveal a bunch of tiny plastic bottles, each about the size to hold one sip of liquid. ]

The blue ones are Vanilla's Famous Vanilla-Flavored One-Shot Truth Serum! One truthful statement guaranteed! The red ones are Sarsaparilla's Tequillas! Pure liquid courage - give yourself the extra kick you need to get out of your comfort zone!

...You don't have to drink these if you trust each other and are confident in yourself, but in the spirit of honesty in our relationship, I'm willing to make a trade. If all these shots are drunk by nighttime, I'll give you proof the people eliminated and disqualified are safe!

[ The truth serum, as you would expect, makes you tell the truth. The "tequillas" aren't actually alcoholic, but they do make you feel much braver. Both generally only last the length of one answer/dare, but some of them might last a little longer... chinchillas don't practice good quality control. ]

Hopefully after she completes that kiss dare later and gets lectured at by Rin something will sink in... ]

[ Let's just move on, Tatsuya!! ]

[ Whoever told her that is not entirely correct!!! And yeah, he'll move on right now— he can tell that he's not reaching her at all. ]

I dare you to twirl in place for thirty seconds.

[assent]

[ She might not be saying it, but she appreciates it okay Tatsuya. It's just Hard. ]

Very well. Will you count for me, please?

[ And then she'll start twirling around in circles. ]

[ Sonia's a Good Girl. ]

Sure, I can do that. One.... two...

[ He counts the second out loud very accurately. ]

[ Thankfully she knows many delinquents here apparently. She'll get there. For now, she'll keep spinning until he reaches thirty, then tumble over--potentially into him given how dizzy she feels for it. ]

[ Fortunately, Tatsuya makes sure he's ready to catch her when she stops. ]

[ She makes a noise in the back of her throat, eyes blinking between open and shut as she tries to regulate her balance again. ]

Please... give me a moment.

[motorcycle_noises]

I can wait.

[ And he keeps a respectful but steady grip on her while she reorients herself. ]

My apologies for that. [ She straightens herself up when she's ready. ] Which would you like this time, truth or dare?

[motorcycle_noises]

It's alright.

[ Tatsuya flicks his zippo open and shut. ]

I'll go with truth.

[assent]

[ She hums, thinking it over. ]

Have you told Sudoh-san your feelings yet?

[ We're coming back to this apparently. ]

[motorcycle_noises]

[ Tatsuya ponders that question for a moment. ]

I've told Sudoh that I like him.... though I'm not sure he really gets how much that's true.

[assent]

I... can understand that, a little. [ Though she won't go into that either. ] I wonder if it is difficult to believe in a situation like this...? I could not say for certain.

[motorcycle_noises]

I think with some people... it might not be just the situation, but perhaps in general.... that they lack that sort of self-confidence.

[assent]

...That is true.

[ Thankfully she doesn't have that issue, hers is more rooted in what it means to have a duty to her country as well. But... There is someone she has in mind for that, after what she said to him during bingo and his reaction it seems fitting enough. ]

I suppose we will just have to work harder to ensure they can see it for themselves too, no?

[motorcycle_noises]

[ A smile flickers on Tatsuya's face. ]

...Yeah, we will.

[assent]

Then let us cheer one another on. [ Even if she has not said a thing about who she is talking about ah ]

[motorcycle_noises]

[ He figures if she wanted to share, she would. ]

[assent]

Ah... thank you. Um... sorry I got caught up in this. Would you like to keep playing?

I suppose a lighter would be useful for a while... but wouldn't a motorcycle get stuck in the sand?
