[ Today the cafeteria looks different again, most of the tables cleared out and the space full of pillows, blankets, and love sacs of various sizes. Around the time everyone gets there, Vanilla pops up in the front of the room.. ]

Do you know what one of the most important things in a relationship is? Honesty! Do you know what some others are? Trust! Self-confidence! Communication! A sense of adventure! Sexual compatibility!

...What was I talking about? Oh, right! Today's event is truth or dare! You know how it works! Find someone and ask them if they want a truth or a dare! If they pick truth, ask them any question and they have to tell the truth. If they pick dare, tell them do do anything and they have to do it. Then it's their turn. Try to ask around!

And... I've got something special for you!

[ Vanilla pulls a sheet off a table to reveal a bunch of tiny plastic bottles, each about the size to hold one sip of liquid. ]

The blue ones are Vanilla's Famous Vanilla-Flavored One-Shot Truth Serum! One truthful statement guaranteed! The red ones are Sarsaparilla's Tequillas! Pure liquid courage - give yourself the extra kick you need to get out of your comfort zone!

...You don't have to drink these if you trust each other and are confident in yourself, but in the spirit of honesty in our relationship, I'm willing to make a trade. If all these shots are drunk by nighttime, I'll give you proof the people eliminated and disqualified are safe!

[ The truth serum, as you would expect, makes you tell the truth. The "tequillas" aren't actually alcoholic, but they do make you feel much braver. Both generally only last the length of one answer/dare, but some of them might last a little longer... chinchillas don't practice good quality control. ]

Okay. [ She smiles warmly at that. ] Do you think you would still like fighting as you do even if you grew up in a different environment?

How different? Just a different school? Or like...completely different, another country or somethin'?

[assent]

Let us say... completely different, such as a different country.

...Dunno. I think... I mean, that one's tough! There's a lot of different variables in there, y'know? But...maybe? Someone my size, the stuff what happens to you ain't all that different no matter where you are, right?

[assent]

"The stuff that happens to you"...? Though I suppose I already used my question, you do not need to answer that. [ She pauses. ] But I suppose it was a difficult question.

Nah, like... Gettin' challenged, since if you're big enough, you should be able to fight, right? Or everybody assumin' you were the one bein' aggressive since it wouldn't be the smaller person, right? Or the only people really excited to meet you just wantin' to scout you for sports clubs or a martial arts dojo or a gang or whatever... I figure that ain't unique to where I grew up. So yeah, I'd probably be the same.

I cannot say I would really know either way. I did attend a high school, however I was not really "friends" with anyone there, I simply attended for my studies. I am... sorry that has been the case, however.

Hey, you ain't the reason for any of it. Plus, I ain't complainin'. I like doin' the things I do, that's why I do 'em. I got some good friends and people I can trust. Whatta I got to complain about?

[assent]

Perhaps not directly... [ But who knows what goes on where she's from and there she is supposed to be controlling things. ] But I am glad that is the case. That you have friends and people to support you.

Well, the lone wolf-thing ain't as fun as it seems after a while. You must have bunches of supporters too, bein' a princess and all, right?

[assent]

[ There's a brief, very brief second where her smile becomes strained enough to show through before it smooths back out. ]

Perhaps... There are people who support the royal family, however there are also others who would prefer a more modern system like other countries.

Ah... Yeah, I can see that. You ever think of switching it up, like Japan or Britain or somebody? Seems like it might be less work.

[assent]

The work does not bother me, so much as... the lack of freedom, I suppose? Though I was allowed to travel to Japan to study, I cannot really even complain about that now.

[fightingoverdose]

One trip versus how much other stuff?

[assent]

[ She forces a smile onto her face. ] It does not matter, truly. I would not wish to let my people down.

I'm not sayin' go crazy, but I bet your people think you can have a bit of a normal childhood too.

[assent]

It is difficult, however. I may attend a high school, for example, but do you think any of the others wish to be real friends with me?

[fightingoverdose]

[slowly some understanding comes over her face]

I guess bein’ a foreign transfer student’s bad enough, but if they know you’re a princess... Never know if they’re just after the title, huh...

[assent]

Ah... Actually, my new classmates are a little better about it. It was the others in my own country who made things difficult.

[ Actually some of them were still gross, but that was more wanting to get into her pants kind of gross. ]
