Day 2: The Motives

[Your first "chillaxin day" comes and goes. No exits are found, no help has come, no real explanations are given. But all of a sudden, the tablets reboot and start showing... a spreadsheet. Well, that's something, at least.]

[Tycoon is out in full force today, dashing up to everyone he meets and handing each of them a cute envelope with their name written on the front in crayon. If they should look inside, they'll find their murder carrot written there, as well as, "FOR YOUR EYES ONLY." If your character is one of the ones who has no bribe for which they would kill an innocent person, they will instead find a picture of dickbutt, but with their own face crudely drawn on it, and helpful "DIS U" with an arrow, just in case the point was missed.]

🔪 If you haven't filled out the character list and IC profiles yet, please do that. Until those are done, we have the aforementioned spreadsheet the raccoons are still fixing their tablet software, okay).

🔪 We had two last-minute drops: Hiyoko, who did not intro, and Kaito, who would like to retcon having intro'd. The original sign still said 32... well, lbr, raccoons aren't that good at counting.

[He dodges that one, too...mostly; instead of running into his head it hits one of his ridiculous shoulder spike things which are actually not as padded as they look. His eyes narrow but he maintains position for now]

[As it is, he's got years of asshole goading experience, and is a good judge of optimal taunting distances. That said, Akechi's got a little more range than a nerd of his height would suggest, and Kaiba has to backstep quick to keep from getting knocked over by the kick. ...Except that backstep lands on the giant dictionary from a second ago, and suddenly he's slipping backwards, grasping for balance.

[Flailing out, his arm catches on a shelf; said shelf half-slides, half-breaks right out of the unit like the pressboard Ikea trash it is, sending a load of (hopefully only minimally on fire) paperbacks spilling over the both of them]

[OOF. Akechi lies there for a long moment. Maybe if he's lucky, something else will fall and he'll die.]

[Kaiba struggles back to sitting, scowling at the shelves, the books, the fire, the ceiling, and especially Akechi's stupid head]

[Now, it isn't sporting to hit a man when he's down. But he's gonna have a giant bruise on his forehead and scorch markets on his coat and he is very rich so fuck it, he throws another book. Maybe he'll die!!!]

[Unfortunately for everyone involved, he does not. He retaliates with a book of his own (not a very heavy book, and he doesn't manage to throw it very hard, but it's the principle of the thing) and starts digging himself out.]

[Does the same. Next time they will need to scuffle somewhere with less degrading things to drop on them than some shitty light novels and the extended Nancy Drew/Hardy Boys canon in full.]
