But eventually she returns, and shoves a bit of paper in Yuri's face. The handwriting, is amazingly neat, every letter perfectly proportioned. Someone's had calligraphy lessons.

Kazuno would make me write out tradition poems to improve my writing. But this is the first time I have written the words for one... It is difficult, you must be a talent person to have this hobby.

[If you look carefully you can see little indents from letters on scribbles from the page above.]

[she looks it over again, those indents are distracting, but it's proof she really tried... she had to find something good to say.]

Well... the handwriting is... very good... except for this misspelled word... or two...

If you do a task a lot then you get good at it. [At least that's what Father used to say.]

Only four? ... That is better than my transfer papers, I had six there! [She smiles, pleased with that.]

Despite that... there is a feeling in this poem, isn't there? It's the feeling of... unease... doubt... uncertainty.

...You even used a little metaphor, which is good.

I want you... to take that feeling... and... try to write, just once more...

...Don't worry too much about using the right words... just write with the feeling in your heart...

Until you can read what you wrote and it makes you feel how you felt then.

But that makes my head and chest hurt. That is why it is easier to get someone else to complicated things like that.

It's... not "something someone else does." It's "Express your feelings in a way you can't, normally..." no one else can do it for you.

Feelings are what you use to translate into poetry... especially if they hurt.
