And, back by popular demand, it's the motive vi—wait, no, not that. Well, I guess you're motivated to build your relationships? That's better anyway.

...Anyway! Check your tablets! You will find you have a few interesting video files! They should be familiar to you! The catch is... if you don't share each one with a different person by nighttime today, they will all be shown to everyone here! We'll have a fun midnight viewing party!

This may seem a bit cruel, but... love is cruel sometimes. Take it as an opportunity to get a bit closer to the people you care about, or everyone will learn a bit more about you! It's win-win when you think about it that way!

[ On your tablets are a minimum of 3 video files! There is no maximum; it's however many you OOCly want to deal with. Each video contains some sort of secret your character has—'secret' loosely defined as anything they would be uncomfortable being thrown up on a big screen in the auditorium in front of everyone. The presentation can be as simple as lines of text with embarrassing facts (Alice wet the bed until she was in junior high!) or as involved as a dramatically edited montage of the murders they committed through their whole life. Your choice!

Each file should be shown to a different person to count as 'shared'. If there is anything they do not manage to, or choose not to, share with someone in particular, comment with a brief description of it over here. These will all be shared publicly in a post which goes up on Thursday before the date announcement post. ]

No, I thought... that may be what it was. At first I may have been a little overwhelmed by the information, but Rin and Allen listened to me and helped me calm down so it was not as difficult to process.

Very well. I should note that I had no recollection of this event and was only told my memories of it were wiped two days ago, however... It is still a past version of me in this video.

[ She'll hand it over with the video already starting to play.

The image starts with the control room in Novoselic somewhere. There are multiple monitors on the wall, rows of people on computers behind it. The monitors are what are awful to see though, fire burns the landscape and buildings are broken. That isn't the worst of it though.

People in the streets are wearing bear shaped masks, half black and half white, and are hitting each other with bats, knives, tables, chairs, bottles... anything to beat each other to death. In the background people jump from the building, despair having consumed them.

And back in the control room stands Sonia, eyes red as she observes it like... she's pleased? ]

[Reviewing the thumbnails, well, these give a pretty clear hint of what they will be about. They seem pretty chaotic for a nurse of all things, but 'killing game' is the go-to guess for that kinda thing here, with half of the people already being in one. Niwatori actually reacts with more surprise to the NSFW ones, because those are less in line with what other people have showed her.]

A-Are you worried because yours have death in them? Because... there are actually a lot of bloody videos out there... We've all been through a lot, I guess.

That is not quite how I imagined it, however. though I suppose that does make some sense to control things better.

plows through monsters like they're nothing, but when he approaches a dark-haired woman with yellow eyes things aren't so easy. Still, he manages to dispatch her. He's good at that.]

[ The video pans back to the forest, and lingers before coming to a close. Nothing green is left - gray ash, crumbling bones. He can almost smell it, and buries his face in Niwatori's cloak, a moment of weakness he'll allow himself. Anyway, she'll shift to watch his video in return and even before they reach the climax of the "story" in it, if he's watching her he might notice the way she's becoming a little breathless watching this. He moves really gracefully at the start, taking down what she can only describe as monsters or demons anyway, yes. Her face even flushes a little, her chest tight because while it isn't the same it's--

But whatever thought process she had the conversation with the woman stops it to make her blink. He's thrown off now, after all. Her lips part as he dispatches her, her cognitive version disappearing in a puff of black smoke (or what seems like it) before the video stops. ]

The history was not fully documented. But there were not many left after the old world's destruction. Those that remained had to have multiple jobs. It was more practical to have one set of knowledgeable people teaching while handling other duties. With the wars, there has not been a good time to separate them again or the required resources.

[She watches the video with a startled look, her face turning red as it goes on. But-- Ther's something like horror there too, because she is capable of regular human emotions, okay? It's just... It looks like something Enoshima would've enjoyed setting up. In fact, Ryo's joy over it all reminds her uncomfortably of the girl.

Still, it makes her a little breathless to watch the carnage; it reminds her a lot of both the horror movies she loves and the reality she'd lived for years, where blood and violence had been commonplace. It was different, yeah, since she'd been essentially brainwashed into it, but brainwashing didn't account for everything.

She wets her lips with the tip of her tongue and takes in a shuddery breath] Th-that's why... You were asking if I was human...
