Trash Squad Day 11 - SECRETS
Are you ready for it?! It's the long awaited final event! This is your last chance to get close before your final dates and the final bonus event!
And, back by popular demand, it's the motive vi—wait, no, not that. Well, I guess you're motivated to build your relationships? That's better anyway.
...Anyway! Check your tablets! You will find you have a few interesting video files! They should be familiar to you! The catch is... if you don't share each one with a different person by nighttime today, they will all be shown to everyone here! We'll have a fun midnight viewing party!
This may seem a bit cruel, but... love is cruel sometimes. Take it as an opportunity to get a bit closer to the people you care about, or everyone will learn a bit more about you! It's win-win when you think about it that way!
[ On your tablets are a minimum of 3 video files! There is no maximum; it's however many you OOCly want to deal with. Each video contains some sort of secret your character has—'secret' loosely defined as anything they would be uncomfortable being thrown up on a big screen in the auditorium in front of everyone. The presentation can be as simple as lines of text with embarrassing facts (Alice wet the bed until she was in junior high!) or as involved as a dramatically edited montage of the murders they committed through their whole life. Your choice!
Each file should be shown to a different person to count as 'shared'. If there is anything they do not manage to, or choose not to, share with someone in particular, comment with a brief description of it over here. These will all be shared publicly in a post which goes up on Thursday before the date announcement post. ]

[He doesn't quite make it to comforting, but at least he's serious.]
sdr2/dr3 spoilers (cw: suicides and murder and )
Nor does he know if it's even true, but given the fact that she doesn't recognise things here it's quite likely it is going to be something from a past she doesn't remember.
Her hand shakes slightly as she presses play. Though she doesn't choose the first one, choosing one that looks like a classroom instead. It seems safer.
The image that is starts with isn't the thumbnail--it's just a little before with her and her classmates in their classroom. Their teacher, Yukizome is reading a "letter" saying goodbye to them all.
As your homeroom teacher, and an alumni of Hope's Peak Academy... I will be cheering you on from the bottom of my heart. I'm sure there will be hard and sad times in your lives, but even then do not forget what you learned here. And fly to great heights! The thought of not seeing you all again makes me sad, but... I'll be rooting for you all in your future endeavors.
From your homeroom teacher, Yukizume Chisa.
She closes the book and smiles at them, bowing and tearing up--but when she leans back up her eyes are Not Normal. A black swirl is in its place, like the way someone would draw a person who is dizzy. All of their eyes begin to look like that.
Sonia declares that she's so glad to have been a part of this class, her classmates all say things of encouragement as well. Sonia stands up at some point, her arms spread and declares "I will make my country a peaceful one, with no war"--there are other comments but none of them really stand out until Komaeda's.
Hope will win out in the end, that's why I can relax and become despair.
Screams are starting to get louder now, then... Chisa blows up the goddamn class. ]

What... just happened?

I am afraid... that is something I cannot answer.
[ Her eyes close and she takes a deep breath. ] As I said, it appears that my memories have indeed been wiped.

...
[uhh. Squeeze her hand?]
no subject
She appreciates him trying, however, and squeezes his hand back in return. Her thoughts definitely seem to be elsewhere for another few minutes though, before she turns her attention back to him. ]
Ah... Was there something you needed me to watch, also or...?
no subject
[Maybe Sonia will simply appreciate how good he is at killing things and also people??]
no subject
Given what you have told me, if they are not understanding, that may be the case.
[ She holds out her other hand, a small smile on her face. ] I am willing to watch if you agree to it, but I will not pressure you either.
no subject
You, ah... weren't especially close to Joker, were you?
no subject
If I were to put a name to it, I would say... he was one of my best friends here, actually.
[ I mean, as best of a friend you can be after a bunch of days. ] ...May I ask why?
no subject
[actively tilts the screen away from her]

I maintain my proclamation that I shall not judge, if that will help?
[ I mean, it's easier to be less upset when it's about other people anyway. And she can hide it a lot better in those cases. ]

...Here. Watch this one.
[Akechi instead pulls up a video of himself running around in the cognitive world. He's younger, though that's probably hard to tell because of the suit and mask. He
plows through monsters like they're nothing, but when he approaches a dark-haired woman with yellow eyes things aren't so easy. Still, he manages to dispatch her. He's good at that.]
i'm embarrassed typing this
Anyway, she'll shift to watch his video in return and even before they reach the climax of the "story" in it, if he's watching her he might notice the way she's becoming a little breathless watching this. He moves really gracefully at the start, taking down what she can only describe as monsters or demons anyway, yes. Her face even flushes a little, her chest tight because while it isn't the same it's--
But whatever thought process she had the conversation with the woman stops it to make her blink. He's thrown off now, after all. Her lips part as he dispatches her, her cognitive version disappearing in a puff of black smoke (or what seems like it) before the video stops. ]
Did... you know her?
no subject
No.
no subject
But she knew of you?
no subject
Lots of people know of me.
no subject
Even so... [ She pauses, her hand squeezing his gently. ] That did not seem like the same as what someone would read in a newspaper.

I am sorry they forced you to watch this again. Here. [ She lets go of his hand, only because she moves to hug him again. ]
no subject
I'll be fine.
no subject
I believe in the end you ended up more upset than I did, however.

Some things are rather difficult to let go of.
