Are you ready for it?! It's the long awaited final event! This is your last chance to get close before your final dates and the final bonus event!

And, back by popular demand, it's the motive vi—wait, no, not that. Well, I guess you're motivated to build your relationships? That's better anyway.

...Anyway! Check your tablets! You will find you have a few interesting video files! They should be familiar to you! The catch is... if you don't share each one with a different person by nighttime today, they will all be shown to everyone here! We'll have a fun midnight viewing party!

This may seem a bit cruel, but... love is cruel sometimes. Take it as an opportunity to get a bit closer to the people you care about, or everyone will learn a bit more about you! It's win-win when you think about it that way!

[ On your tablets are a minimum of 3 video files! There is no maximum; it's however many you OOCly want to deal with. Each video contains some sort of secret your character has—'secret' loosely defined as anything they would be uncomfortable being thrown up on a big screen in the auditorium in front of everyone. The presentation can be as simple as lines of text with embarrassing facts (Alice wet the bed until she was in junior high!) or as involved as a dramatically edited montage of the murders they committed through their whole life. Your choice!

Each file should be shown to a different person to count as 'shared'. If there is anything they do not manage to, or choose not to, share with someone in particular, comment with a brief description of it over here. These will all be shared publicly in a post which goes up on Thursday before the date announcement post. ]

It's repulsive to think that any videos not shown to others will be publicly displayed... to be frank, it's blackmail.

It's much more similar to the things they'd do during the killing game... in fact, they were deliberately alluding to the motive videos in mine, I think.

Motive videos?

Mm, we were given videos on our tablets then, too. References to our pasts, reasons we needed to get out... to encourage us to kill someone, to 'win' and escape.

[artisticliberty]

[narrows his eyes sharply]

Despicable.

[he throws down his pencil like he's mad at it]

...Yes.

[he gives him a longer look at that, though]

Are you alright?

[... he sighs, looking less angry now and just frustrated]

I'm alright. I am annoyed by being forced to relive some of these memories.

[truthstranger]

Mm, I understand that. Some of these... aren't necessarily things I wouldn't share, but they're things that are never enjoyable to think about.

Yes. Many of these memories are not secrets, particularly to my friends, but... they are still hidden in my heart, one way or another. Actually, there is a memory of you in it. Do you recall our conversation during the Bingo game?

...Mm... there is one I thought I might have you watch, but... um, it's a bit awkward. That is... embarrassing...

Then... here.

[ He cues up the video on his tablet and then hands it to Yusuke.

It begins with a helpful title card: Shuichi Saihara has had sexy dreams about almost all of his friends! It then goes into... a dream montage. It's all very soft-focus and R-rated, and not more than a few moments of any particular dream, but they are all clearly pretty sexually charged, at the minimum. A strange hotel room is a recurring setting, for some reason. And there are... a lot of people in it. Akechi features pretty heavily, but there's also, well... his entire cast, and at least ten of the other people in this game. A sampling:

Akechi's are frequent and definitely most of the more obviously sexual ones; whatever editor was putting this together clearly had their work cut out for them choosing scenes that were only suggestive, and a lot of them are only R due to camera angles making it hard to tell what's happening. There are a few others, though. In one, Shuichi is immobilized somehow while Akechi advances on him with an almost predatory look on his face; in another, his hands are crawling up under Shuichi's shirt, just hidden from view of someone else across a table.

Akira is definitely in it a suspicious amount. A lot of it is simple—them both sitting on the edge of a dorm bed, arms wrapped around each other; Akira taking off his shirt in a suggestive manner. Some of it has stranger undertones—Akira pinning him to wall in a dim alley.

Sonia appears a bit—a few seconds of her in her black party dress, pressing him back onto his bed; a brief scene of her leaning across Shuichi to kiss Akechi, their limbs all entangled in a way that's hard to identify.

Yusuke himself is definitely there too—a flash of the intense look he gets when he's focused on something, a moment of a paintbrush moving over bare skin.

Shuichi looks fixedly at a point in the middle distance in the opposite direction from Yusuke. ]

[yusuke's eyes get real wide when he sees what's going on, and pretty soon he's watching very intently, perhaps too intently. on the one hand, that's way more of akechi than he wanted to see, thanks. on the other hand, he doesn't mind it as much as he expected to. hmmm. that's a thought for future-yusuke.

he lets out a quiet "oh!" when he sees himself in it, surprised. and he has to cover his mouth with one hand when sonia enters the picture, and has to bite down on his index finger when akira enters it.

unbeknownst to him, his hand has been slowly... slowly... crawling across the table towards his sketchbook--]

[and then the video ends, and yusuke blinks, and quickly withdraws his hand.

[So the thing about having been staring the opposite direction is that Shuichi notices neither Yusuke reaching for his sketchbook or any of his other reactions, other than the quiet noise. for better or worse.

He looks back when it seems like it's over, though.]

You conjured up some impressive anatomical positions in that fantasy, and I would be very grateful if you would allow me to replicate them.

[On the one hand, this is almost certainly the most embarrassing thing that has ever happened to him, possibly even beating out that time everyone had to tease him about getting laid for his alibi.

On the other... hand... at least it's a positive reaction? Yusuke could be disgusted or angry.

Also the idea of Yusuke rewatching his fantasies and sketching them down permanently is kind of hot. Just a little. In addition to being mortifying.]

[he opens his sketchbook and replays the video, watching closely and doing some quick sketches]
