Are you ready for it?! It's the long awaited final event! This is your last chance to get close before your final dates and the final bonus event!

And, back by popular demand, it's the motive vi—wait, no, not that. Well, I guess you're motivated to build your relationships? That's better anyway.

...Anyway! Check your tablets! You will find you have a few interesting video files! They should be familiar to you! The catch is... if you don't share each one with a different person by nighttime today, they will all be shown to everyone here! We'll have a fun midnight viewing party!

This may seem a bit cruel, but... love is cruel sometimes. Take it as an opportunity to get a bit closer to the people you care about, or everyone will learn a bit more about you! It's win-win when you think about it that way!

[ On your tablets are a minimum of 3 video files! There is no maximum; it's however many you OOCly want to deal with. Each video contains some sort of secret your character has—'secret' loosely defined as anything they would be uncomfortable being thrown up on a big screen in the auditorium in front of everyone. The presentation can be as simple as lines of text with embarrassing facts (Alice wet the bed until she was in junior high!) or as involved as a dramatically edited montage of the murders they committed through their whole life. Your choice!

Each file should be shown to a different person to count as 'shared'. If there is anything they do not manage to, or choose not to, share with someone in particular, comment with a brief description of it over here. These will all be shared publicly in a post which goes up on Thursday before the date announcement post. ]

It's okay if you don't remember it. Maybe it's even better to not know about it and being able to see things from a different perspective.

... it reminds me of what the Millennium Earl does. Orchestrating tragedies. Just so he can create more akuma. Especially with that bullshit about hope and despair.

[spoilers: he HATES the Earl and now officially hates that Junko girl for putting someone he cares about through something so terrible]

Ah, though... [ She blinks, like she's remembering something. ] The island was a simulation, Saihara-san said. That would mean... it would not matter after all.

[ Don't mind her, trying to figure it out anyway even if she should probably let it drop. ]

It would seem that was the case. If my assumptions are correct, perhaps... this was the start of it all.

[ She pushes the bucket away now, grimacing at the taste in her mouth. ] It appears you were correct about bringing a bucket, also.

Unfortunately, I've had. A number of experiences where a bucket would have been nice.

[Level 4 comes to mind and he thankfully only feels remnants of nausea at the reminders.]

But why would there be a peaceful simulation after something like this?

[ Sometimes it is, but talking about it helped her remember what Shuichi had said about the island. ]

"Rehabilitation" is what Saihara-san described it as. That is why... my memories are missing, I suppose.

Meaning... someone was trying to help you recover from what was done...?

[he says it slowly because. it sure. seems like the whole destruction of the world was engineering by driving people to despair. sounds familiar.]

That is what it sounds like, is it not...? [ She doesn't sound certain at this point, but maybe that's something that can be cleared up later. ]

he shifts a bit, mostly to lean against the headboard and pulling Sonia along against him.]

Mm... He did make it sound as though his own memories on it were incomplete, however... Mikan-san or Komaeda-san may know more. Hinata-san seemed to remember the same as I.

[ She makes no protest as he shifts and pulls her with him, relaxing once they finally settle. ] But yes, later. This... is nice. [ She does actually sound happy and content when she says that, too. Warmth filling her up from being close like this. ]

But you may be correct. [ May be. ] Besides, is it not the same for you? This... [ She reaches up to tap his chest. ] Allen is Allen, after all.

[his left hand moves to grasp hers at his chest, letting a smile come to his face again]

Mm... it's a lot of work to keep it that way, too. What's helped the most has been something... Mana would say. That my master reminded me of when I needed it the most.

[assent]

[ She peers up, letting her hand be held. ]

And what is that?

"Don't stop; keep walking forth," in short.

[he pauses, letting his fingers move to lace with hers as he thinks of how to explain it... it's deceptively simple, really.]

.. I almost stoppd, once. Truly stop, I mean. Tragedy called forth the Earl and the selfish actions I made then turned that tragedy into despair. The kind where moving forward is the absolute last thing on your mind.

Bur Master was there the whole while, said those words and reminded me... Mana, as strange as he was, as sad as his life was... he managed to keep moving forward in the hopes of seeing his brother again--something he probably knew was impossible, that's impossible for sure, now.

I think about it and I think... it's been the little things... little by little... that make it worth it in the end. And if someone keeps moving forward, especially on a path less travelled, they end up in places they never would have thought possible at the start.

[case in point: brings her hand up so he can kiss its knuckles.]

So I keep being thankful for moments like these. They're what actually matter, in the end. What helps with putting one foot in front of the other.

[ Her eyes flutter a little as their hands move to lace together, her thumb sliding over the back of his quietly as she listens. ]

Yes, that is something I can understand, I think. While it is not the same, when things were dire at home I held on in the hope that when I would be able to move forward I could change how things were. Meeting my friends back home, meeting them here--you and Rin, also... They make all of that struggle worth it, I think.

[ Though her breath does actually hitch a little when he starts kissing her knuckles, her face reddening a little. It tickles a little, too, but she's trying to not draw attention to that. ]

It wouldn't be the best sort of kiss but, really, I can't see how any kiss with you would be unpleasant.
