Are you ready for it?! It's the long awaited final event! This is your last chance to get close before your final dates and the final bonus event!

And, back by popular demand, it's the motive vi—wait, no, not that. Well, I guess you're motivated to build your relationships? That's better anyway.

...Anyway! Check your tablets! You will find you have a few interesting video files! They should be familiar to you! The catch is... if you don't share each one with a different person by nighttime today, they will all be shown to everyone here! We'll have a fun midnight viewing party!

This may seem a bit cruel, but... love is cruel sometimes. Take it as an opportunity to get a bit closer to the people you care about, or everyone will learn a bit more about you! It's win-win when you think about it that way!

[ On your tablets are a minimum of 3 video files! There is no maximum; it's however many you OOCly want to deal with. Each video contains some sort of secret your character has—'secret' loosely defined as anything they would be uncomfortable being thrown up on a big screen in the auditorium in front of everyone. The presentation can be as simple as lines of text with embarrassing facts (Alice wet the bed until she was in junior high!) or as involved as a dramatically edited montage of the murders they committed through their whole life. Your choice!

Each file should be shown to a different person to count as 'shared'. If there is anything they do not manage to, or choose not to, share with someone in particular, comment with a brief description of it over here. These will all be shared publicly in a post which goes up on Thursday before the date announcement post. ]

The thumbnail at the top is changed to one that looks like a dark room with the door open, but it's hard to see anything else just yet. ]

[ Sonia can't bring herself to watch, so she ends up looking ahead, watching the wall instead.

The video starts with the door being the focus before the video seems to pan towards Sonia as she walks forward. She's dressed in a long white gown that could almost look like bridal wear if you weren't aware that she was royalty. Her tiara is in her hair, which is up in a ponytail. Her eyes are red, however, which is completely different to normal and she looks slightly older than she does now which is ?? confusing.

The focus is on a cart behind her and he'll hear Junko's voice talking to Sonia asking what she brought with her.

The room is dark, yes, but it's enough to see as two bodies are pulled off the cart and onto the floor. Their eyes are blindfolded and mouths are gagged but the woman seems to have light hair, the man a little darker.

There's a muffled exchange of words, but then the video fastforwards.

The next scene is a lot more horrific. The woman is still blindfolded and tied up, but she's strapped to a bed now and is being tortured with numerous implements. She's cut. Her nails are yanked off. Bones broken.

Junko is a pretty crazy lady... and Sonia--this Sonia--is just as bad in that she seems to be flushed and enjoying this hot mess.

Thankfully, the video cuts off before it gets much worse. ]

[ he's watching it without a single blink, though - his eyes are half-lidded, gold irises bled dry of the warm light in them. he's quiet, expression unchanging - at the end, he's looking up to sonia, gently offering the tablet back to her. ] . . . You were right. This is quite a nightmare.

[ She still isn't looking at him directly, but she will take the tablet with a quiet hum for a moment. ]

Perhaps even moreso when you realise those were my parents.

[ Which is, in a way, even more ridiculous given the fact that Yusuke encouraged her to overthrow them but he. Probably. Did not mean like this. ]

[ carefully leaning back on the beanbag, watching her ] I see. . . And, you have no memory of this?

[assent]

[ She pulls her tablet up against herself. ]

In my current state, I do not, no.

[counterfaith]

[ closing his eyes ]

. . . I see.

My greatest condolences for your family, Miss Sonia.

[assent]

...Thank you. [ Though it feels weird to say that when... you're the reason they're in that state. ]

[ it does, a little bit ]

. . . Are they alive? Do you know?

[ Instead of responding with words she just shakes her head, it takes her about a minute or two to speak again. ]

Millions have died already, do you think they would be any different?

[counterfaith]

. . . I suppose not.

[ there isn't much else he has to say - it isn't something he can ascribe as her fault, not when she was supposedly brainwashed. she doesn't even remember it. ]

I pray their souls find rest.

[assent]

[ She leans back in her seat finally, letting herself relax a bit now. She doesn't understand why she isn't being blamed a little for it, even if she was brainwashed, but... There are more important things to deal with. ]

I appreciate it. Ah... This was an exchange though, was it not? Which of yours would you like me to watch?

Ah - they're largely videos that are particularly messy . . . I'll let you choose between them. [ offering his tablet; of the last two videos selected, there's one with the thumbnail of a purple heart. surely it's not real. it's just called hearts.mp4. the other one is a black screen, called humanity.mp4. ]

Messy...? Very well. The first is fine.

[ If both are going to be messy anyway she might as well just go with the top one--it isn't as though she knows what they contain.

She glances at him and... hits play??? ]

[ There's text on the bottom of the video:

• Ruler, as a Heroic Spirit, has eaten five dozen hearts from the corpses of gods.

The video is just a montage of Ruler with purple hearts - they look like maybe they could be toys, except for the fact that, at some point there's actually Ruler harvesting the heart itself from the corpse of a demon. Or, is it a god? Fake gods are gods, too. In any case, he eats them in fives and fifteens, repeatedly - with his bare hands. Delicately, like they're pit fruits even, and he even wipes the blood off afterwards. There's something disturbing about watching a priest devour a heart - although at some point, interestingly enough, he suddenly looks different.

Ruler himself doesn't particularly seem to care about Sonia watching, or at least he's not watching the video himself. ]

[ He had said it was messy, but... she didn't think it was this kind of messy. It's strange to see in the sense that the person in the video is someone she knows, compared to when she's watched horror movies before.

The only problem is that Sonia is the type of girl who... adores those kinds of movies to the point where her heart pounds frantically and her hands tremble slightly. In fact, the hand not holding the tablet moves to press against her chest over her own heart, trying to will it to slow down in how fast it's beating while watching this.

It doesn't change the fact that her face is red though either, skin flushed and warm as her head tips down a bit.

It's. . .

She shuts her eyes, trying to not think about how this is not actually disturbing. It's. Hot.

[ you know i think you might have been brainwashed to torturing your parents but this is also somehow incredibly unsurprising now that i know you've tortured your parents before. ] . . . Miss Sonia. . . ?

[ The two things are not actually connected given that she was brainwashed into ... y'know. Spreading despair.

The torture just got exaggerated, really, given that she knows A Lot about it. ]

Y... yes?

[ She sounds breathless still and purposely isn't looking at him though, even with the video finished. ]

[ hm ] . . .Ah, was it a bit much after all. . . ?

[ It feels worse to have him ask about it, so slowly she lifts her head to look at him. Her eyes are probably a liiiittle glazed at this point too.

She looks fine--a little too fine tbh. ]

Not at all, I just...

[ Well, hopefully she doesn't have to finish that sentence given that her eyes drop to his mouth then away.

Why is this happening. ]

[ ah. uhm. scratching his cheek ] . . . If you don't say anything, I'm going to be embarrassed . . .

I am not certain of what to say at present.

[ She is gripping his tablet way too tightly though rip ]
