I assumed the paintings were yours, but I was expecting the room to be in better shape. What did you two do?

I put a tarp down! But some of the paint went beyond the tarp. Scrubbing it didn't work too well and I wanted to ask you if it would make a worse mess if I tried to butn it off the floor.

Please do not burn paint, especially not paint of that caliber. The mess is... fine, as it is. I was just surprised.

Sorry. We got a little busy with other stuff and by the time I got back to the art room the paint was already drying. But if you know how to get it off the carpet, you can tell me and I'll clean it up. Since I made the mess and all.

There are some cleaning supplies in the closet that should work. I'll help you clean it up. It would not be the first time someone has made a mess in there, myself included.

Yeah, with all of the paints and stuff, I bet it'd be easy to make a mess.

[TIME TO GO CLEAN THE ART ROOM THEN! Surprisingly Rin doesn't seem to be allergic to cleaning like a lot of teenage boys are.]

What made you think to burn the paint off?

If you make anything hot enough, it'll burn. Even metal.

[He. Speaks from personal experience.]

My flames can burn really hot too, so I thought I could take care of a little bit of paint no problem. But the paint did smell strong when we were painting- [And flicking it at each other. And rolling in the spilled paint. And making out a little in the spilled paint.] -so I thought it might be one of those 'smoking hazards' or whatever.

Yes, the chemicals in most paints would become a hazard if you burned them.

I didn't realize you could use your powers here.

Sometimes! It's weird, I can't really figure out why it works sometimes but not other times.

[He. May have tried to use his fire on the paint anyway but failed because it wasn't romantic at all.

And now he's trying to make some in his hand to show Yusuke, but since it's not really a romantic-showing it just doesn't work and he frowns.]

I'm sure of it. It's my fire, it only burns what I tell it to burn. It can even heal people too, sometimes.

[He's still learning how the healing part works though.]

[It's warm! Pleasantly warm, like eating a cookie hot from the oven or something. And it definitely won't burn Yusuke, though the fire may linger a bit on his fingers if he pulls them away.]
