[Ah yes, there's the beautiful sound of Raquelle's voice ringing out over the loudspeakers to wake everyone the fuck up this fine and lovely morning. Don'tcha just love that raccoon screeching.]

[to his credit, he doesn't jump! if only because his entire body is already wracked with an intense, dull pain. he does hiss though, instinctively tilting his head to bite down on the collar of his jacket, mostly to keep himself from crying out]

[He doesn't like how Akira freezes, and in the pause, Ichigo tries to reach out.

Well. tries. His arm flails around, weakened from blood loss and the sudden loss of depth perception, never quite making it to Akira.]

[He trails off, uncertain of where he was even going with it, his thoughts sinking into the black pit of unconsciousness that just waits to drag him back into it.]

[considering for a moment then his voice is lower]

[The steps are a little muddled now, what with all the commotion, but if Will can pick out our dear sweet half-dead shounens', they are most certainly the deliberate steps of intrepid explorers braving the unknown!]

[his entire body suddenly freezes, and he moves his hand away from his forehead to level an even stare at Will]

[He doesn't fight back - he barely has the energy to stay awake - but he gently squeezes the top of her head, in an effort to give her some sort of comfort. His voice gets a little louder, if still slurred.]

[This isn't his room. He knows that, at least.]

[The blood is only drops from carried corpses, so there's some extra evidence that agrees, right? He stops at the door, trying to aim a light to see if there are any prints on the door handle.]

[he hesitated earlier, but he isn't hesitating now, reaching out to catch Ichigo by the wrist with his good hand. his smile doesn't brighten, still doesn't quite light up his entire face, but. . .]

[it's a little warmer. some of that relief is seeping through. and still, he says nothing]

[Well, that was actually one of Rin's thoughts initially, that the worst they could do was punish him afterwards. But he's not going to admit to that now that he's being called out on it. No, instead he's going to move to sit up, and then eventually stand up, as he's talking. Unless his progress is interrupted, of course.]

I wasn't going to do anything like killing someone anyway! But I gotta try something, if it'll help Akira and Ichigo then I'll try reasoning with these two.

When he speaks next, his voice is a little louder, a little clearer, the relief in his voice clear as day.]

[ The command is immediate and forceful and the only reason it isn't accompanied by Ulaz shoving Akira back down is that he's otherwise occupied preparing for what is going to be some real fun surgical work over here. Because BOY HOWDY is he working with materials way less advanced than he's used to, but at least it's not so backwoods that this'll be a horror show. He's got what he needs to disinfect the wounds, to close them up, to keep them bandaged, all the essential basics.

Real shame he can't find any anesthetic, though. So, uh, okay, maybe it'll be a little bit of a horror show, but it'll be a horror show where everybody gets to keep their limbs intact, so, y'know. Ulaz has dealt with worse. At least there's the painkillers...??? He'll direct somebody else to actually administer those to Akira, though, because he has more important shit to deal with, namely making sure Ichigo doesn't die before he's going to worry too much about Akira. ]

I am going to treat Ichigo first. Try not to make your wounds worse in the meantime.
