[Ah yes, there's the beautiful sound of Raquelle's voice ringing out over the loudspeakers to wake everyone the fuck up this fine and lovely morning. Don'tcha just love that raccoon screeching.]

I get it, I get it, you're all fat and happy after the holidays. Well, no more of that, that's for sure! You can trust us on that, you sure can, nyehehehehe! 'til then...Oooh, maybe we will have some corpses to mess with if you guys don't hurry your butts up.

OPERATION SOS (SAVE OUR SHOUNENS)

[BOW HOWDY, THAT WAS A LOT OF FUN. . .]

[soon after McGonagall and Caius bring Ichigo and Akira to the infirmary, soon after Akira and Ichigo are laid down on the hospital bed, and soon after Akechi runs off to fetch Ulaz, one of the unconscious boys begins to stir]

[it's slow at first, a gentle coming to after being out for, like, several fucking hours, thanks. there's a moment where his eyes flutter open and he just. . . blinks blearily at the ceiling, brain completely scrambled]

[and then it all crashes back into him at once, and he immediately bolts upright, large gash in his back be damned]

Ichi-- nnnngh. . .

[and then he doubles over, pressing his forehead against one hand (the good one, the non-injured one), as his entire world swims]

[ tsumugi did hear about threat the raccoons were saying over the radio, but it didn't really hit him until he stumbles upon the infirmary and sees akira's beat-up body - ]

A-Akira-kun!

[ runs over there ]

Akira-kun, wh-what happened?

[well. for lack of a better way to put it, he looks like shit!! blood totally stains his cheek from the bullet-grazing injury he has running across it, right underneath his eye. not to mention his pant leg is soaked through from where he was shot in the calf. and that's saying nothing about how much that gash on his back leaked and totally ruined his fancy black coat, or how-- well. he's wearing red gloves, so it's kind of hard to see the bloodstains there from his hand injury, but hey!]

[he doesn't look up with Tsumugi calls his name, and he's breathing heavily, shaky and pale]

Tsumugi. . . [well at least he knows he's there] Ichigo needs h. . . help.

[sitting on a counter somewhere in the nurse's station.

[he hisses the word quietly, but with feeling, gently lowering himself back down. . . onto his side, because. his back. hurts a lot]

[gooood he can't really think because everything still hurts and his words are currently. slurred. where's Ulaz. help]

[ He's over here, not touching the pain killers because he doesn't know how those work at all (as in anything pill-like to be fair.) Though he doesn't expect Akira to be up, and he is looking at what they have to use besides the bandages.

There is the sound of running water though because there is a sink in here god bless, and wounds need to be cleaned. ]

Ichigo is still alive.

[Akira does lower himself down again, if only because his world is spinning and it's hard to think through the pain, and. yes. he keeps his (uninjured) hand pressed against his forehead, fingers curled tightly into his bangs. his (now totally useless) one lays at his side]

Is he. . .?

[But if anyone expects Ichigo to wake up, well...they'll unfortunately be disappointed, because he's out. Hell, he's clearly the one who's worst off, what with the deep chest wounds making a lopsided 'x' on him, the clearly to the bone shoulder wound (and stab mark close by!), the gashes on his arms and one on his right shin, to say nothing of his bandaged left eye...He's clearly lost a lot more blood than Akira, and is incredibly pale and barely breathing.

Honestly, it's kind of a miracle he's still alive, but...maybe you guys should look into helping him before he actually does kick the bucket.

That being said, he lives (because he's a shonen hero, and he's had worse, including actually fucking dying twice), and after a couple hours, his one remaining eye opening slowly, obviously dazed from blood loss and barely even there, letting out a soft groan as he returns back to the world of the living.

Give him a minute or two before you start yelling, guys.]

[ Illya is quiet at first when she sees him. She wants to yell at him, but she knows that she'll probably get yelled at for screaming at a patient, not to mention that he's hurt and injured.

[Akira's probably moved to one of the wheelchairs so Ichigo can have the entire bed, honestly. he sits in one with the arm of his injured hand in a sling, head bowed, chin pressed against his chest]

[the groan gets his attention though, and his gaze immediately snaps up, eyes wide. even so?]

[ What with all the hubbub around this area in particular Minako can't help but notice some business going down once she's finished her grave business and she's been in and out periodically because sitting still isn't her thing and Ilya has the vigil covered well enough thanks. So he might be slightly more lucid by the time she shows up to swoon dramatically at his bedside. ]

ICHIGO you're alive!!

[ Minako this is a hospital please calm down - ]

I thought I was going to have to dig your grave all by myself. How could you do that to me, Ichigo, these delicate hands aren't suited to hard labor and you know it!

[ Boys can be so selfish! She really wants to collapse on him or grab him or something to make sure he's there and solid but there's all these bandages so she's just repeatedly reaching out and then snatching her hand back. But Ulaz is good at keeping people alive through immense bullshit, so ultimately, Ichigo will be--maybe not fine, but definitely not dead, so good job all around???

Which Ichigo finally rouses, Ulaz doesn't do or say anything just yet. He simply watches and waits to see what Ichigo's going to do. ]

Rin is going into the infirmary to see what's going on, and he stops when he sees the state Akira and Ichigo are in.

He's frozen for a moment, unable to say anything.

And then he bolts from the infirmary.]

[ The command is immediate and forceful and the only reason it isn't accompanied by Ulaz shoving Akira back down is that he's otherwise occupied preparing for what is going to be some real fun surgical work over here. Because BOY HOWDY is he working with materials way less advanced than he's used to, but at least it's not so backwoods that this'll be a horror show. He's got what he needs to disinfect the wounds, to close them up, to keep them bandaged, all the essential basics.

Real shame he can't find any anesthetic, though. So, uh, okay, maybe it'll be a little bit of a horror show, but it'll be a horror show where everybody gets to keep their limbs intact, so, y'know. Ulaz has dealt with worse. At least there's the painkillers...??? He'll direct somebody else to actually administer those to Akira, though, because he has more important shit to deal with, namely making sure Ichigo doesn't die before he's going to worry too much about Akira. ]

I am going to treat Ichigo first. Try not to make your wounds worse in the meantime.

[ Hiyori is ever-ignorant of the concept of indoor voices, but he's keeping his answer short and to the point. He's well aware of the fact he's useless in this situation, and close to neither Akira nor Ichigo— which means that while he's not interfering or here to unnecessarily aggravate either of them, he's not trying to be helpful, either.

He's trying to gauge Akira's condition, to see if he can pick Akira's brains about this now or if he'll have to wait even longer. ]
