[Morning comes, and with it, a distinct sense of unease. The raccoons spared no feelings in their offers yesterday, and even tried to ensure a murderer could get away with it... Only if everything goes according to the raccoons' plans, though, and that hasn't really been the case so far, has it? Haven't you been doing so well these not-quite-two weeks?

Don't overlook the possibility of it being a set-up. It was no secret that Tsumugi had been thinking about suicide. It makes for a perfect cover.

[Ichigo slams his hands on the table in front of him, actually standing up to his full height before angrily facing Kaiba.]

Do you think I don't know that?! That I and Akira didn't just nearly get killed for trying to go into places they didn't want us to go?! That I haven't been thinking since we learned why the hell we were here about how most of us are going to die?! Don't act like I'm some kid just for being goddamn upset about a friend of mine dying!

[Kaiba barely reacts to the passion, simply crossing his arms, tone cold]

Thirty people, ten survivors. If you were so worried about having to cull the herd, why waste your time getting to know the sheep?

[Ichigo-dono is sad again. And again she doesn't know what to do again. Other that look around the room, silently calling for help. She's too confused for this.

Why would someone do that though? That's pretty cruel!

Because murderers are concerned about kindness? Don't be so naive.

Not that there aren't politer ways to put that but he's got a point.

People are dead. Keeping your fee-fees safe isn't going to change that.

...Though I suppose you'll have to figure out who's the most worthy of being punished somehow, and which one killed the nicest is as good as any.
