She was using the full capacity of her intellect... it was when people told her to go beyond that capacity that she ran into a problem. If no one had done that, she'd still be alive, and so would Harukawa Maki.

That is the truth. Deny it if it makes you feel better, but that is the reason she committed murder that night.

And her own conclusion as a result of that 'think' was that it was better for her to kill and then die, to protect the ones who were threatened with harm in the 'threat' she received the other day.

If no one had told her to 'think' she would have just continued to go on without coming to that conclusion. Hell, probably the only reason she didn't kill me or anyone else before-hand was because we were 'friends' and I refused to let her out of my sight for even a second.
