Day 15
[There are really only two important things to note about Day 15:
One, your tablet informs you that there's a killing night tonight! Tonight we're back to normal; only one murder, please!
And two, there is shitty prepackaged deli sushi in kitchen. So uh, y'know. Enjoy that.]

Yeah, yeah - What do you want those for, anyway?

This isn't a science mystery, so I'll spare you the details.

When was she ever going to give up the detective thing?]
Sure, whatever.
[...]
I saw your post on the tablets, earlier.
[And his tone makes it clear he's not pleased with her message.]

[Yeah, that is said harshly - as he finishes grabbing the bandages and starts unwrapping the ones on his arms, revealing the wound on his left arm to the air.]

There was no lie in what I said. She committed murder because some people told her to 'think'.
I never told her to 'think'.

...
[But after a lengthy pause, he continues.]
Right. Because you didn't want her to think or even learn how to do any of the things she never gt to. It was easier for you if she just obeyed you without question, right?

[casually, like it's the easiest thing to say in the world.]
And... given what has happened, I was right, wasn't I? Really, if it wasn't for the fact I had been watching her every night, never letting her out of my sight, she may have committed murder much earlier.
...You're welcome, by the way.

[Ichigo almost never jumps to that level of profanity so quickly, but the things she's saying - so goddamn lightly - about someone who was a dear friend of his has his anger bubbling like nothing else, hand clutching the bandages so tightly his knuckles blanch.]
Futayo had the right to think and be whoever she wanted to be, even if she ended up thinking killing someone was the right choice. If you're just going to sit there and act like you're somehow our savior for keeping her company every night, you're goddamn wrong - And the only thing I wish is that she hadn't considered someone like you a friend.

She was my assistant, and she was more than suited for the role. I feel a pang that she was removed, but there is nothing more to do. Anything else was irrelevant. Especially whatever you think she may or may not have had a 'right' for. If you want to be mad at someone, Kurosaki-san, look in the mirror. You're doing nothing more than projecting your own views for how you think people 'should' be on others... even if it's not what they're suited for. Especially, you should have realized the impressionable Honda Futayo should never have been told to 'think'.
But, I have nothing more to say. The truth of my statement made on the tablet is self-evident.
Is there anything else? My little grey cells are itching to start preparing for the next mystery.

For the second time, all Ichigo wants to do is punch the living daylights out of her - but he's more in control of himself, and he just angrily finishes doing his arm bandages while she talks, actually shaking with barely suppressed rage.
She doesn't understand. She probably never will. And he should just stop trying to get her to see this in any other way, because she isn't capable of comprehending it and just doesn't want to even try seeing it from his perspective. ]
...No. There's nothing else.
Have fun with your science or whatever, great detective.
