[Most of the flooding has been stopped as well, though it's uncomfortably damp just about everywhere. Looks like the raccoons only half-assed their cleanup.]

[Speaking of half-assed, where's Tycoon? I mean, broken ones, sure, but has anybody seen him up and about? Looks like you guys might be flying blind this time around...]

To think that you would have the nerve to ask me to go so far out of my way, but if it really is so tough a job to have to go through the struggle of petting a dog and a hamster, if someone has to do it, then I'll take on the burden.

[She has never been less angry in her entire life, or at least in the past two weeks? Maybe "or more" instead though because she gets distracted petting the puppy when he first sees him tbh, and also Lucy needs some scritches too!! And Mae is looking oh-so thrilled when she shows up with the fluff brigade in tow; good cooking is honestly just going to be the cherry on top of this situation where she has an alibi, and her living friends stayed that way, and she has animals to pet, and things are sort of okay in murder school comparatively speaking with these factors in mind.]
