[It's that time again! The Great Detective has been killed, so put those little grey cells to work and find the culprit!]

[Most of the flooding has been stopped as well, though it's uncomfortably damp just about everywhere. Looks like the raccoons only half-assed their cleanup.]

[Speaking of half-assed, where's Tycoon? I mean, broken ones, sure, but has anybody seen him up and about? Looks like you guys might be flying blind this time around...]

They definitely don't. They're born from nature like any other natural spirit.

Mmm... well, sort of, but it's a little more complicated to that. I don't like explaining it, though. Vampires are really weird.

If something you've got gets hit with the Daimon curse, it comes to life and tries to take your heart right out of your chest.

That's similar to me, since I was created using magic and alchemy. I wouldn't curse people, though. Or take people's hearts.

That scientist had a daughter - I don't know the full story, but there was an accident, and he had to make her a new body.

She wasn't into eating hearts or anything either, so she was sick all the time.

... oh, so it was basically transplanting their soul into another body. That's pretty difficult to do perfectly.

Well, obviously. Transferring a soul to another body is difficult if you don't pay the proper price for it. Of course something was going to go wrong.
