It does. Because it depends on when Akira and Erika made the choice to pair up. If they made that choice before you talked to her, then it's fine. But if they made that choice after you talked to her, then there's only one way you could have known.

Erika and I agreed to pair up right after Futayo confessed. So, it had to have been before.
