[It's that time again! The Great Detective has been killed, so put those little grey cells to work and find the culprit!]

[Most of the flooding has been stopped as well, though it's uncomfortably damp just about everywhere. Looks like the raccoons only half-assed their cleanup.]

[Speaking of half-assed, where's Tycoon? I mean, broken ones, sure, but has anybody seen him up and about? Looks like you guys might be flying blind this time around...]

[a hushed whisper that immediately turns into a ragged scream]

[and he launches himself at Ichigo, coming in swinging]

[Ichigo doesn't move.

He'll just accept whatever Akechi has for him, closing his eye.]

[screaming — not even words anymore, just screaming — he punches Ichigo right in the face.

so I mean that's all well and good, but then

he pulls out a kitchen knife]

[He just reels back from the punch, but doesn't do anything as Akechi pulls out the knife.

This is fine. If he's killed here, then so be it.]

[fortunately (unfortunately?) for him, Akira tackles Akechi before he can even come close to attacking with it, and they both go crashing into the ground, the knife flying out of his hand and landing harmlessly on the floor]

And then takes a seat, soundless.

Looks like he doesn't die right now after all.]
