So logically speaking, he' got a pattern going now, right? How many times does a guy have to show up on the elimination vote before it just makes sense to put him out of everyone's misery? Because I'm thinking "two" is a pretty good point.

I guess it's understandable since you're also up for elimination, but... That's kind of a harsh way to put it, isn't it?

I mean, well, it's not like elimination's going to hurt him, right? But he's missed out on dates twice now, and - and this is the first time I haven't found a partner. And since everyone's trying to make good matchups every time, it just makes sense to keep people around who have a better previous record. You want potential dating partners who are better at the game around, you know?

Right, I'd be a lot more torn up about it if the chinchillas hadn't shown us they're fine, but... it's a game, right? If someone's not going to play, why keep them around to distract people.

Well, good dates, right? [He shifts, a little uncomfortably.] I mean, it's not like I'm expecting to find my one true love and settle down under the circumstances, but if I'm doing well at the game then logically it's going well for the people I'm paired up with, too.

That is an understandable concern. It is still quite early in the game so I would not worry much about your successes and failures.
