On the stage in the auditorium, you can find some envelopes with photos in them... all the people dropped or eliminated so far are represented, in various states of exasperation. The chinchillas are there in the photos too, apparently proving the photos are recent by holding up cards listing various things that happened in truth or dare... hopefully nothing too embarrassing?

It's impossible to tell where the pictures were taken... the background has been blurred out, and not particularly expertly. More like someone on their first day of photoshop with a not very steady hand went at it with the blur tool for a while.

[Okay, he's looking really closely at them, trying to discern if they're real people or not... Probably not paying attention to anyone else around him?]

[ methodically picking up every photo to shuffle through them, though some he's putting to the side and others seem to just ~disappear~ - that is, for those who are particularly good at catching sleight of hand tricks he seems to be pocketing a few of them rather discreetly, though which ones he's pocketing is a mystery honestly.

notably, if you're checking the photos that he's already checked, there's no mention of ruler in any of them. ]

[Hinata frowns as he overlooks the pictures. There might be just the slightest hint of something stirring in his gut as he catches the sight of familiar orange hair - nothing easily defined, but if he had to put a name to it... perhaps regret would fit.]

So even that guy is here too, huh...

But there's no point in dwelling on that now. He looks unhurt, which is the important thing. He flips through another and- Ah. He feels a little bit of embarrassment, but the guy who kissed him on the cheek is here too. Embarrassing, but good.

Hinata is unsettled, though, and it'll be clear in his tone if the chinchillas or anybody else is close enough to hear him murmuring under his breath.]

Why'd they go through all the trouble of blurring this out, though...?

[ at various times of day you can catch ruler dozing off - early in the morning in the auditorium in one of the lovesacs (did he ever leave it?), as well as in the cafeteria once there's been some food prepared (chicken and potato soup, it seems), picking at a bowl of soup himself. later on, you might even be able to hear a loud cacophony of MEOWs when he hits the piano keyboard with his face - though he has the decency to startle awake from that, and he's picking up his book to go.

[this time it's not as obvious, but if you make a trip to the nurse's office at any point you'll notice the giant freshly-painted mural on the wall: a vibrant pastoral scene of a bamboo forest at night, moonlight filtering through the branches, fireflies dancing across the scenery. one can almost hear the sound of a deer-chaser in the distance if you stare at it for long enough.

if you're looking for him, yusuke's not actually in the art room today! he's in the aquarium tunnel, studying the weird-ass creatures in there. he only has a little bit of paint splatters on his pants this time, because he decided to change clothes after midnight painting sprees, only it turns out he doesn't own any clothing that doesn't have paint on it oops.]

[ This fine morning you can find Isuke in the gym. She's actually wearing sports clothes (though they are certainly form-fitting, because she'd never wear anything not sexy) and somehow she hasn't bothered tying her hair back either.

She's put up one of those big gym mats against a wall and is furiously kicking and punching it. Despite appearances, she's pretty good at it? ]

[For once she's wearing something normal and her isn't up in the pony tail. It's loose and hanging down to her waist... At least she still has the bandages on her arm and knee to identify her by.

She's spending the morning in the aquarium tunnel just watching the fish. Holding her spear and scowling at the little. But she only taps the counterbalance on the floor.]

One day I will find a way in...

[Then she remembers the bingo prizes and actually gets them. So it's off to the kitchen to sort this sea bass out. She could have gotten it pre-chopped up up and prepared but no, she's quite happy to go at it with a knife. But she knows what she's doing and she has a proper surface this time. And she's soon smiling as she watches the fillets fry.

She's guarding this fish like a hawk. But then she also reacts to her date.]

The wine cellar? OH! Without Erika-dono, I can drink what I wish.

[A little later in the day, Rin can be found in Library 2, looking at a hand drawing of a certain woman. Anyone who has seen Yusuke's art should be able to recognize it as one of his drawings. Rin is holding it very carefully, as if it's the most delicate thing he's ever touched, and he's just staring down at it with a sad smile on his face.

Though if you want a less-sad encounter with Rin, the gym might be a good choice. He's trying to shoot a basketball into the hoop, with 'trying' being the key word there.]

[Akira notices Rin staring at the drawing, and while he has no idea who it's supposed to depict, the obvious sadness behind Rin's expression makes him begin to cry.

But Rin is the one who's really upset, so he approaches, peering over his shoulder as tears roll down his face.]

That's someone important to you, isn't it...?

[Sometime around noon, Akechi drags his sorry carcass over to the kitchen to make himself some coffee. He pulls up a chair and quietly lays his forehead on the counter as he waits for it to brew.]

[at that time, yusuke is preparing lunch for his date later on, and he pauses with an onigiri in his hand as he sees akechi.

after a few moments of contemplation, he goes over and sets down an onigiri in front of him, wordlessly]
