I spent a while in that time, and body, but after some time, I woke up in my own body again. Except, the present had changed. It was like that girl had never existed, and an entire written language had been erased from history. So I played that instrument myself, and went back.

Not... quite that extreme? As I get more exhausted, it gets harder to move. But also... when we switch, and she's in control, I lose consciousness. Or... I guess, more realistically, I stop existing for a while? Every time I come back, it's a little harder to do it, and a little easier for her to push me aside. She could probably do it on accident, soon. And I don't know how many more times I'll be able to come back at all, or what'll happen if I don't.
