[Akira #2 is lurking to one side of the aquarium tunnel, gazing up at the sea creatures with a contemplative, almost sad expression. He'd loved to have shown Ryo something like this, and now he can't stop feeling homesick and worrying about what he left behind.

That's soon pushed to the back of his mind when he spots Yusuke.]

Do you like animals, too? Or is this for an art project?

I admire these creatures. I find them aesthetically pleasing, and I am hoping to gain some insight into my feelings by observing them.

[Pushing off the wall and moving to stand beside Yusuke.]

Have they given you any ideas, yet?

Certainly. Far too many to do anything with, but it's given me plenty to think about. It is a shame they are forced to live under such conditions; if there was a better habitat for them, I would spring them out of their tanks right away.

I wish I could do the same for us. If I just had my powers...

[Gently takes his shoulder and pulls him away, moving to stand between him and the glass.]

[that's probably for the best, some of that glass is already splintered in places]

My apologies. It has been difficult... to reconcile my feelings.

[Lets go of his shoulder when he's sure he's not about to headbutt the glass again. He actually sounds a little choked up himself -- even though he has no idea what Yusuke is referring to, it's easy to feel his sadness.]

Of course. They are the ones who insist nothing can be done for it, that our short time here is all we have. And I rebelled against the very idea! But... I cannot afford to act so recklessly, either. To think that these precious few days are all I have to spend with them... it is too painful to accept.

[ah ok, i guess akira is just crying now]
