[ certainly not awake enough to notice, though he does take hold of the blanket and shift onto his side, exhaling - it sounds like a whine, or a whimper ]

[Akira freezes and looks over his shoulder at whimpering noise. He's never heard him make a noise like that before -- is he having bad dreams?

After hesitating for a second longer, Akira moves to sit on another love sac close by. Maybe he can keep an eye on Ruler if he needs someone, or at the very least, stop other people from coming along and waking him up.]

[ the better question is when he doesn't have bad dreams

he's still for a little while longer - if there wasn't another soft gasp in his sleep it might be easy to dismiss the earlier noise as something not reflective of his dreams, but that isn't the case. in fact, for as long as he's watching, occasionally there's another noise, another whimper - until he startles himself out of sleep, much like how he had startled awake earlier. ]

- ah. Ah. . . mm . . .

[As he startles himself awake, he'll be greeted by the sight of Akira hurrying over to kneel beside him, touching his shoulder.]

Hey... It's okay.

[ a little startled when he realizes akira's there - he stiffens briefly before relaxing, and he's moving a hand up to rub at his neck. ]

- Ah. ...Hello, Akira-san - is it morning already... ?

[Withdraws his hand, though otherwise he remains where he is.]

Yeah. But if you're tired, you can go back to sleep.

[ taking a pause, before he shakes his head ]

No, I'm fine. It's about time to get up now - the dates have been announced already, right?

Yeah. It looks like my first date is with my second date, this time around. I don't know if I should be jealous.

[He offers a wry smile, before getting to his feet.]

Yeah. We fought. She's strong... and she didn't really mind, even when I told her the real reason I wanted to fight her.

I did it because it was fun, and because I know she likes fighting a lot.
