and the fun don't stop here at Nope's Peak Academy, because once that announcement has gone off and everyone's had a couple of minutes to...pretend to catch their bearings and deal with the fact that all of the body parts are gone except for the major award leg lamp Ichigo's stuck holding, there are more announcements to come.]

As of now, you have the rest of today and tomorrow to figure out who to punish for the murder of Sigma Klim! You should double check your rules page if you forget what that entails. Or if you didn't! Nyehehehe.

It's nothing like that; we idols have to maintain strict diets at all costs anyway, and inebriation especially in our age would get us into trouble. Hiyori-kun and I may go to different schools now, but it's pretty much protocol for every idol.

[ at least that's what tsumugi thinks. he's such a stickler for the rules after all. ]

Well, aside from almost throwing up from seeing someone's arm, I guess I'm doing okay. What about you, though? You did such a good job out there.

Ah, right - They sure don't make it easy on idols, do they?

[He's heard stories, like every japanese person has, of scandals that amounted to 'this idol has a boyfriend/girlfriend' and other unsavory shit - although he doesn't pay much attention to idol groups personally. Still, if Tsumugi's a part of that...man, he really can't see it with his temperament.]

Me? Ah...no, I'm alright. I've - well, I've never seen someone be chopped up in that many pieces, but...I've seen death before. That, and if I didn't do it, who would?

[Other would have, probably. But a lot of Ichigo deciding to do it was because he'd felt he'd failed Sigma by not checking everyone's state of mind after Santa's execution, to tell the truth.]

[Honestly, it's not like Ichigo would push him to tell it, anyway. He can tell Tsumugi's hiding things, but it's not his place to go trampling around in his heart.

Ichigo does blink at the last bit, because wait what.]

[He's not a hero or a main character in his mind - he's just someone who can't stand to see people who need help suffer.]

You know! Someone who looks after people, rescues them in times in need, has a tragic backstory that involves death -- you have the basics down pat, actually!

[So here's the first time Tsumugi will see Ichigo visibly wince - when he mentions about a past that involves death. That...touches a little too close to his heart for him to be comfortable with.

But he keeps going, trying to pretend that he didn't just flinch.]

...I guess when you put it like that, sure...but I don't really think of myself like that - I just want to protect as many people as I can, and that's not something that deserves praise.

[ but here's the thing - tsumugi doesn't notice ichigo's uncomfortable reaction towards his flippant way of talking about death. it's something that he overlooks way too often, despite someone who desperately wants to care for people. ]

Oh, but it does! Like you said, someone has to step up to the plate, and you did just that. If it weren't for you, there wouldn't be any organization at all. I would've taken care of organizing myself, but... I don't do well with bodies. And I'm not that useful in these things either.

I don't know - you were the one who started up the literature club, right? I'm pretty sure you could organize something like this pretty easily.
