Day 5, afternoon
[SO HEY, THIS MORNING WAS SUPER COOL, HUH??? EASTER EGG HUNT, BODY PARTS, TOO MANY LEGS, SUPER FUN, RIGHT????
and the fun don't stop here at Nope's Peak Academy, because once that announcement has gone off and everyone's had a couple of minutes to...pretend to catch their bearings and deal with the fact that all of the body parts are gone except for the major award leg lamp Ichigo's stuck holding, there are more announcements to come.]
As of now, you have the rest of today and tomorrow to figure out who to punish for the murder of Sigma Klim! You should double check your rules page if you forget what that entails. Or if you didn't! Nyehehehe.
[And there's something new on that rules page, too, for those who take a minute to check.]
You can vote whenever you want, but make sure to do it, okay? It's going to be a problem if you refuse to vote at all, nyehehehehe!
[When the characters open up their tablet again, laborious instructions will guide them through getting to the voting app and using it; both names and pictures are showcased. Votes can be changed at any time, and there's a countdown at the top of the app for how long until votes are due.]
Good luck, everyone, nyehehe!

[ ultimate bibliophile to the rescue once more ]
It tells the story of Jack Torrance, an alcoholic writer who takes a job as a winter caretaker for the old and luxurious Overlook Hotel, which every winter becomes completely snowed in. He brings along his wife Wendy, and son Danny.
As time passes, strange things start happening: Danny discovers he has psychic powers and starts receiving odd visions. In the meantime, Jack starts becoming more and more unstable: he had been warned that the previous caretaker snapped and killed his family, but that wouldn't happen again... But of course, it did.

Well. The "alcoholic author" part doesn't bode well for me even though I'm not an author myself and even if I have a solid alibi, but the rest of it sounds like "unsuspecting person snaps".

Which isn't in the book, by the way. Though it's one of the most iconic scenes of the movie.

And of course, the raccoons tampered with the evidence so that makes it even more difficult.

[ he lowers his gaze, his eyes completely lifeless ]
I hope we find them soon. The killer, and why they'd do something like this.
no subject
Or it could be that they're just that motivated to kill.

... but Tsumugi-kun. This whole raccoons dismembering the body does put a real downer on the whole suicide option being an easy answer for who the killer is.
[WHAT GOOD IS A SUICIDE IF PEOPLE DON'T THINK YOU SUICIDED?]

[ DAZAI-SAN HE UNDERSTANDS YOU ALL TOO WELL ON THE SUICIDE FRONT BUT
PLEASE ]

So it couldn't be a suicide.
I'm not sure if I should be relieved or not...

In other words: if it were suicide, we wouldn't be able to tell because the only evidence we have is the faulty evidence created by the raccoons' interference covering the actual evidence.
Though I'm not certain if it is suicide. Just a number of things do not add up if it is a murder.
