We will not be allowed to import coffee until later on in the 1600s. And then it will not be regular till later.

Though the Testament Union might allow us more in between. It would depend on how specific their information is. If it is vague then we would be allowed more without it affecting the recreation.

A long time ago, humanity had the power to create a world they could escape the environment of their old world. Due to a war new world was destroyed. So humanity was forced to return to the old world... The environment had stabilized again. But it was not possible for humans to live in most areas, as strange creatures now roamed them. And they had lost the knowledge to return to the world that had been.

To regain the lost knowledge. The Testament Union was established. They had decided that humans would recreate history...

[She looks up to make sure he's listening. Then nods to herself. Trying to jog her own memory of the old stuff.]

How do you recreate history?

How would recreating history even help?

The Testament Union, possess the Testament. [It's a really imaginative name.]

It is a book that documents early human history. They assign names based on how suitable people are for them and have then copy the role they played in history...

[And here she was going to talk about the Harmonic Unification war, but he's asked that.]

I do not know. Lord Motonobu said the same. It is why he destroyed Mikawa. He said that we need to go against the Testament Union...

It just seems. . . strange? [rubs the back of his neck, and shrugs] Why recreate history when you could be making your own? It sounds like it isn't really 1648 where you come from either, but some time far off in the future from that.

I do not know. [She's already said that.]

It was decided long before I was born. Due to Lord Motonobu's actions we are currently at war with the countries that are following the Testament Union.

Judge. Due to Lord Motonobu's death and the destruction of Mikawa the Testament Union called for the execution of his daughter. We contested it due to the circumstances.

[Like, her not knowing she was his daughter, or that her soul got used to make weapons.]

And a war broke out from that conflict?

Can you tell me more about the Testament Union itself?

We do not know much about them. They mostly stay out of disputes unless it affects the recreation. They have yet to act on what happened. The ship of one of the groups they are allied with passed us that night. They evaded notice until the last moment, then announced themselves by showing their strongest...

Jud...I do not like negotiations. They are like the rules of this place. [Nods.]

...What is it like where you are from? If you do not have anything like the Testament Union?

I like them when both parties are on equal terms. This place. . . it's different.

[HE HATES THE RULES OF THIS PLACE!!]

[he also pauses at her question, unsure how to answer it beyond saying, like. "it's normal"]

It isn't very exciting. I live in a big city, with a lot of people. I go to school, I've made friends, I work a few part-time jobs. . . it's all pretty. [waves a hand] Normal?

[cluelesscavewoman]

[It's interesting to her and completely different to her idea of normal. So she stares.]

I have just started going to school again. I only have one friend in my class, but my master is there too. Maybe I should I should try yo get a job outside of my duties?

I don't see why not. It might be a nice break from the war.
