[After the execution, there's... nothing. The raccoons exit the stage, and the rest of you are free to do the same. The only update on your tablet reads: "You've been good, so we're going to give you the rest of the day off!"]

[ Minako's eyes are perfectly dry by the time they hit the greenhouse. Back to business. All business.

...There sure is a lot of blood in a human body huh. Ichigo's probably going to have to throw away that shirt. If Niles were alive, he'd probably have a good saucy joke about that. ]

Let's bury him under one of those trees.

[ Classic, like in the movies. If one of them were a weeping willow it'd be perfect, but it's a dignified resting spot all the same. ]

Everyone likes trees.

[He'll take care of his clothing later - for now, he gently sets Niles under a tree, pointing to the shovels set aside for digging purposes.]

See? They're over there. Get two, would you?

[And while she's doing that, he focuses on Niles' body...and begins to resolutely pull the arrows out, placing them in a pile to the side. For him to lay properly in a grave, the arrows have to be taken out - even as they make horrible noises and spatter him with more blood.]

[ Making horrible noises and spattering fluids all over, just like he did in life. Minako is glad to not be participating in that part. She'll bring over some shovels and even start working on the grave, jamming her shovel into the earth with vigor. Looking over from time to time. She's never - okay, she's seen dead bodies. Not like this, though. In battle, where there wasn't time to grieve or think about it too hard, and then she'd died herself, and it hadn't been her problem any more. ]

I've never buried anyone before.

[That is a terrible way to remember someone by, wow. But soon enough, all the arrows are out - and Niles' body is in one piece, if full of holes.

When he's finished, he grabs a shovel himself and helps her dig, still silent until she speaks up.]

...Neither have I.

[He takes out a few more shovels of dirt, and then -]

I've seen ghosts and the dead, but I've never buried anyone.

[ Ichigo is still a lot better at this than she is. All those biceps and so on. And, right, he's involved with some weird stuff himself. ]

I've been a ghost.

It wasn't great - it takes so much effort just to let people know you're there!

[ Anyone who's known Minako for ten minutes could make a good guess on exactly how well that would suit her. ]

[He actually pauses in his shovelling, looking at her as if to determine that she's telling the truth.]

...Well, yeah. You'd have to be either a pretty powerful spirit to move things around in the living world, or the item you want to move around was connected to you when you were alive.

[Though now he's wondering if this means she was dead before she came here, because that would be another one for the list.]

[ Minako's not doing the sly self-important puffing-up routine she does when she's bragging, for what that's worth. ]

...So if I die again, I'll be able to move my ribbon around. I can work with that; there's no way I'd be able to come up with one of those word scrambles without writing it down.

[ Not that she wants to die! But it's good to have options and be flexible with your future. ]
