[After the execution, there's... nothing. The raccoons exit the stage, and the rest of you are free to do the same. The only update on your tablet reads: "You've been good, so we're going to give you the rest of the day off!"]

[He didn't think he'd be taking this as hard as he is, and yet...

For most of the day, Ichigo can be found in the Cafeteria, staring down at his notebook in front of him, in absolute silence. The pages he's opened to are the ones covered in his notes from the investigation, every inch of it practically covered with notes.

A little while later, he flips the page, taking out his pen and writing something down.

A while after that, he's doing nothing but holding his head in his hands, gritting his teeth together. No matter what he does, what he thinks - there's nothing but the memory of Niles asking Ichigo to kill him, as if he knew Ichigo was a shinigami. Of holding a man in utter despair and fear, and being unable to even grant him his one final request - ]

God...goddamnit.

[The curse is forced past his lips, barely a whisper, but it's still there.

A week has gone by, but he already feels so tired - a tiredness that has nothing to do with the sleepless night he just went through.]

God didn't have much to do with any of that.

[Hey look, Rin is sitting opposite of Ichigo at that table too. He's not crying or actively upset, but he does look worn down. Like he raged in private for a while before going to find anyone. Unfortunately, without his fast-healing, the puffy cheeks from crying last longer than expected.]

[ Illya... isn't the comforting type. Just isn't really in her nature, so she just decides to take a seat next to him, quiet and wondering how long it'll take for him to notice her, if he even notices her at all. ]

[Ichigo, hey... She wandered off part way through the investigations when everyone was arguing.

She's back, and completely confused. And has no idea what to do.

...Slides a plate of food, that is of debatable quality in front of him.]

[ And after Caius approached Ichigo following the execution, later in the day he also decides to come upon him in the cafeteria. There's a reason he hadn't asked to fight then, but now, it's later in the day, and so. ]

I believe now would be the right time to make good on that offer.

Don't ask god for anything. Gods don't answer prayers.

[ Minako doesn't even bother to sit down before tapping him on the shoulder.

She sort of hates to jar him out of his important brooding schedule when he's already dealing with all this heavy junk, but everyone is taking it hard unless they are weirdos like Erika and this is not something anyone without a lot of human decency should be trusted with? Anyway, it should get done and soon so she's bothering him, no goofing around like usual, right to the point. ]

We've gotta bury him before they do anything weird to the body.

[ WELP. If anyone needs a dragon, you'll have to find his dorm.

Or find a small dragon laying near Niles' door to the now empty/unoccupied dorm. Take a gamble at which one it could be. ]

[It's one of the being here she hasn't spoken too. And she doesn't recognise the small creature on the ground. Is it just an animal or someone from the profiles?

She might not be the smartest person here, not by a long shot, but she's smart enough not to poke random creatures with her hands.

Rin has experience wrangling small animals though, so. He's crouching down near said dragon, not at all realizing that it's Corrin.

When he talks, it's with a soft, gentle voice.]

Hey, what're you doing here all by yourself?

[He's holding out a hand for Corrin to get his scent, like one would do with any strange animal to show non-hostility, and hopefully to avoid being bitter.]

[kaiba has most certainly found his dorm. as well as followed him to niles's ex-dorm, or wherever else, just waiting for dragon-sempai to notice him around, in case he needs something. he might have placed a blanket and some water around, just in case,]

[This is a rather pitiful image. Dragons aren't creatures McGonagall had imagined could be grieving like this, but there it is. Or maybe it has something to do with how this is Corrin, if what Dazai said is true.

She approaches, getting her guard up just in case]

[The problem with being a massive bookworm is that when you burn down a library, you kind of end up regretting it eventually. Still, it wouldn't do to keep unoccupied, and Akechi can be found a random classroom, sitting at the teacher's desk and working on his notes, or in the rec room, taking a break for some Wii tennis.]

Is this what detectives have to deal with in a daily basis?

[The whole murder-investigation twofer, she means. Wizards are no strangers to people being murdered, but given there's a magical killing curse and the methods to narrow down who did that are not perfect...yeah.]

[ a day off... perfect. true to his post on recyclr, tsumugi will be found on the far end of the cafeteria, putting together some bouquets he'd made from the flowers of the greenhouse this morning and lighting up a couple of candles he'd found from the art room. he's kneeling, clapping his hands together as if in prayer and closing his eyes as he offers the goddamn Space Raptor Butt Invasion to the shrine. ]

[Well, he definitely comes out from his moping in his dorm and/or by Niles' door to come here, at the least. Draped over his shoulders is Niles' cloak that was dropped before the execution.

He mimics what Tsumugi is doing, the kneeling and clapping hands together in front of the 'shrine'. He then looked to him. ]

[ For those who know Illya, you'll definitely see her out and about, but she's decided to change into the Dress of Heaven, something that actually makes her look a lot closer to her actual age than most times.

She'll be wandering around aimlessly for the most part; trying to look comparatively brighter than most of the others around -- in fact, she's smiling, if only because there's just so much doom and gloom about that she can't take moping around herself.

You might find her singing as she does that as well. ]

[Sigma's death and Niles' execution are some of the most disappointing moments in these last few decades, McGonagall thinks. She had hoped nobody would fall for the raccoons' manipulations, but there it happened.

And as she sees it, if it happened once, it could happen again.

Trying to deal with some of the stress, she goes into the kitchen. After a while there's a tray of freshly baked cookies. They're actually pretty good! A bit of everything, too. Chips, nuts, some plain ones if you don't want anything additional...looks like she wanted variety in her tray]

Please, have a biscuit.

[She offers, looking up from the book she is reading. She's once again reading the Harry Potter stories compilation, and nodding approvingly]

[Will is taking a walk around to check how everyone is doing, not thoroughly enough to stop and talk, just glancing in someone's direction (not at, never at) before moving on. Eventually, he will be back in his room with the door closed.]

[ 'Well that could have been worse' is probably not the right reaction to have to all of that, so Shuichi is not actually expressing that feeling to anyone, instead mostly staying out of everyone's way.

He holes up in his room for a while before he gets restless and goes out again. It's possible to catch him either checking out all the weapons in the weapons closet or sorting through some of the books left in the library. ]

[ After everything that keeps happening in the auditorium, Hiyori does not want to set up or spend more time in that room than necessary. He wants to distract himself, that's the whole point! So instead he's commandeered the gym for practice— he might be in hell school, but really what else is new? So he first goes through the props room to find himself an appropriately idol-like outfit, and then digs through the gym equipment closet to get equipment to stretch and warm up with.

Once he's done with that, he starts a dance routine, and singing. When he's not using his voice for annoying the hell out of everyone around him, he's pretty good— it's amazing that he doesn't sound out of breath even while he dances his heart out.

You might even want to put yourself in his presence to spectate.

But it's more likely you're here to yell at him because in his search through the prop room, he tossed everything out into the auditorium, making a huge mess. Or maybe it's the fact he appears to have emptied the entire gym storage closet into the hall, making it near impossible to pass by. Hiyori, why. ]
