Day 7 - afternoon

[After the execution, there's... nothing. The raccoons exit the stage, and the rest of you are free to do the same. The only update on your tablet reads: "You've been good, so we're going to give you the rest of the day off!"]

[And it does help, Rin! Very much.

His hysteria slowly starts to die down as it seems like he's wearing himself out at this point. He is slumping forward after a several moments of just being held and letting that out.

He is now just reduced to quiet sobs and hiccups. He'll speak finally, even if his voice is hoarse as all out now. His hands come down from his face and let go of his now disheveled hair.]

....

I-I'm sorry.

Don't be. It's tough, I know.

[He's not going to specify how he knows that quite yet, though.

Instead, he focuses on the present.
]

Wanna move into your room, so you can lay down?

[He's assuming Corrin tired himself out and could use some rest.]

...

[He doesn't say anything but managed a nod. Just when Rin might think that Corrin won't move, he will see the man begin to shape shift back into the small dragon he found moments ago.

Maybe that was Corrin's way of trying to be helpful so Rin wouldn't have to drag a human. Or maybe he didn't want his distressed expressions to be so obvious anymore. Dragons have less of those, after all.]

[Well, that certainly makes it easier to carry Corrin. Rin smiles a little and scoops the tiny dragon up before standing up.]

Here, you can just curl up like that for a bit if you want. I won't leave you alone.

[No, Corrin definitely needs someone with him right now. But Rin is going to move to one of the rooms (probably his own) to sit down on the bed, since that is significantly more comfortable than the ground. He'll leave the door open, though, so Corrin can leave if he wants to.]

I always wondered if you were a demon or something. We've got the same kinda ears, you know?

[Rin tips his head to the side a little, so Corrin can see the pointy ears.]

And that means demon blood, where I come from.

[It was probably for the best, huh? Otherwise, you'd have to drag a straggling white haired man around. The dragon even may have leaned its head on Rin's shoulder, being careful with his horns/making sure his horns don't poke Rin.

At least until they make to to Rin's room. When they're on the bed, he is quick to just curl up beside Rin. Hope you don't mind a small, scaly thing trying to stay warm, Rin~.

He tilted his head as he looked up at you and listened to that last statement.]

Ah, does it? Well... It means dragon blood where I'm from, actually. And as long as I have the stone, I can control shape-shifting between forms at will. ['And so it helps me keep my humanity' but he won't add that detail. No need to make it complicated...]

[He has a cat familiar, so he is used to small things curling up against him. Or in his lap. Or anywhere really.]

Is that so? I have something like that, but it's a sword instead. But it's not here, so I'm stuck like this.

[Not that his other form would be much help right now. He....doesn't have the best control over it.]
