Day 7 - afternoon
[After the execution, there's... nothing. The raccoons exit the stage, and the rest of you are free to do the same. The only update on your tablet reads: "You've been good, so we're going to give you the rest of the day off!"]

Um, that's definitely a lot of things that are unfamiliar to me, but I think I get the general idea. But why did everyone end up getting killed?

[ There's a pause here, as if contemplating something... but she then continues. ]
So for the war, you summon these Heroic Spirits. The spirits were offered a wish from the grail as payment for their summoning, otherwise they wouldn't show up in the first place. They're all really powerful beings... so, what ends up happening is that they find it easier to get rid of the summoner rather than getting rid of the heroic spirit. Then again, if a heroic spirit is defeated in battle, they don't 'die', they just get taken in by the Lesser Grail. The same goes for if the summoner is killed as well.
The three families just simply saw the other summoners as "tools to summon the Heroic Spirits", anyway, so getting rid of them was the easiest, most convenient option for them.
