[Most of the flooding has been stopped as well, though it's uncomfortably damp just about everywhere. Looks like the raccoons only half-assed their cleanup.]

[Speaking of half-assed, where's Tycoon? I mean, broken ones, sure, but has anybody seen him up and about? Looks like you guys might be flying blind this time around...]

Not at all. [Well, she does sigh, but she's not too upset by the request. Resigned, maybe.] I assume this is because I didn't manage to spend last night with anyone?

Yeah, sure, why not. There's not an awful lot to say about either, though.

Ok, well, I don't know you can say I had a relationship with Erika? I mean, I knew who she was, she was kind of hard to miss. But I don't think we ever spoke.

I see. Was that deliberate at all? Did you have any particular impression of her?

[ aaaaalso here's one without an alibi; she's pretty easy to find as she'll be in the archery range wearing her dress of heaven instead of her normal outfit for once, if only because it holds.

...No. I'm sorry to ask, but I'd like to talk a bit more about what you were doing last night, and your relationship with Erika.

That's not something you have to apologize for.

[ Her answer is immediate, and her words are cold; her expression matches, too. ]

To answer the first: I was wandering around aimlessly last night; if I found someone I knew and trusted, I would go with them, but I didn't care if they did anything to me in spite of trusting them. No, it's more that... because I trusted them I would allow that. But I didn't find anyone, so the raccoons shut me in my own room for the rest of the evening. As for my relationship with Erika, I'll say this now: I didn't like her. While she was kind to me initially, I can earnestly say that after I spoke about my background — about what I am, she immediately became someone that I did not like.

Of course, this would give me a 'motive', topped with the thing that was shown on those devices. But. Even if you may not believe me, I did not kill her, even as much as I would have wanted to. It's no fun to kill someone that makes me such an obvious target for a motive. Something like that is boring, to me.

...I see. Then, I have two follow-up questions.

First, why is it that once she knew what you were, she became someone you didn't like?

Because she didn't believe that I was a homunculi and stated that we didn't exist.

That seems a bit rude, but I'm not sure I'd call it a motive for murder.
