[ Today the cafeteria looks different again, most of the tables cleared out and the space full of pillows, blankets, and love sacs of various sizes. Around the time everyone gets there, Vanilla pops up in the front of the room.. ]

Do you know what one of the most important things in a relationship is? Honesty! Do you know what some others are? Trust! Self-confidence! Communication! A sense of adventure! Sexual compatibility!

...What was I talking about? Oh, right! Today's event is truth or dare! You know how it works! Find someone and ask them if they want a truth or a dare! If they pick truth, ask them any question and they have to tell the truth. If they pick dare, tell them do do anything and they have to do it. Then it's their turn. Try to ask around!

And... I've got something special for you!

[ Vanilla pulls a sheet off a table to reveal a bunch of tiny plastic bottles, each about the size to hold one sip of liquid. ]

The blue ones are Vanilla's Famous Vanilla-Flavored One-Shot Truth Serum! One truthful statement guaranteed! The red ones are Sarsaparilla's Tequillas! Pure liquid courage - give yourself the extra kick you need to get out of your comfort zone!

...You don't have to drink these if you trust each other and are confident in yourself, but in the spirit of honesty in our relationship, I'm willing to make a trade. If all these shots are drunk by nighttime, I'll give you proof the people eliminated and disqualified are safe!

[ The truth serum, as you would expect, makes you tell the truth. The "tequillas" aren't actually alcoholic, but they do make you feel much braver. Both generally only last the length of one answer/dare, but some of them might last a little longer... chinchillas don't practice good quality control. ]

[this is gonna make a great portrait. yusuke keeps drawing like this isn't tormenting sudoh, and he's going to continue for like, 40 minutes at least]

[about ten minutes in Sudoh starts fantasizing to keep himself from snapping, which is something of a mistake, since he's just working himself up more, and. Whoops.]

[he stops drawing for a moment, raising an eyebrow]

No, s'fine, keep going.

[he continues, grey eyes darting back and forth between sudoh's expression and his paper, a few strands of silky hair falling in front of his face, blending in with long eyelashes. he twirls his pencil a few times with his long fingers, thinking, letting it dance over his knuckles before catching it and picking up where he left off.

but these are all minor details that i'm sure sudoh isn't noticing at all]

Yeah dying though. He's so pretty and Sudoh cares so much.]

[he turns over the image, a sketch of sudoh that is almost wanton in how thirsty he looks. his blush is obvious, his lips parted slightly, and his eyes half-lidded. the blush travels down from his cheeks to his neck, disappearing under the pelt. there's a rose sketched in the corner, as well]

I want to frame it with roses, even if they are somewhat cliché.

[Glances away from it, embarrassed, something complicated flitting across his face.]

Roses are great. It's a cliché for a reason.

...I like him a lot. He's sweet, and kind, and I've fallen for him for sure. I just... wish I could do more for him, you know? Outside of this place. He's so alone...

I, too, wish I could help him more. Akira and I offered to take him home with us, since we seem to live in a universe parallel to his, eighteen years in the future. Knowing the solitude he has to suffer in to save the universe... it's too much to comprehend. Recklessly, I think I would take the risk, if it meant saving him from that fate. But... I cannot make that decision for him. Wanting to is just my own selfishness.

I want him to go with you. I... I know we can't force him, but. I can't take him with me, and I'd trust you guys not to let him give up on himself. But.
