This is the last raccoon holiday for a while, so if you'd like a vacation from this murder game before the KILLING NIGHT, check your tablets! We'll even let you leave the campus, so you'd better praise our generosity!

[There's a new app on the tablets that cannot be removed. It will only activate when you are alone in your room, but click the cute carrot icon and you'll be given a simple prompt: "TAKE A VACATION?" with yes/no prompts. If you click "no," nothing happens; the app simply closes, ready for you to click on it again. But if you choose "yes," you'll become a bit lightheaded, and the next thing you know, you'll be back home. But not just any home: The home in which your murder carrot(s) (the best one, the newest one, or maybe even both of them? It's up to player discretion) has already been made reality. You'll be there for a full three hours before you're brought back to Nope's Peak, holding the tablet as if you never left. After that, the app will only say, "You know what to do."]

By the way, if it ain't obvious, that killing night is tonight! If you're thinking about doing a murder, rest assured: We will NOT let the dead mess up a trial like that again!

[In other news, the science lab has been restocked, and the raccoons made a HUGE mess eating out of the kitchen trash, like worse than usual.]

[This repeats a few more times, with Kaiba doing better at accepting hand licks and giving ear scratches each go. It helps that Baxter is being an increasingly good boy, but maybe Kaiba can see the appeal of puppies after all.

Eleven. There's Molly, Walter, me, and the dogs. We've got two bedrooms in a two-story house. Also, we don't have any neighbors too close by.

[tossing over a knotted up towel that baxter isn't jumping at, because really, arm straps are great???]

Bare, clean, functional? Doesn't sound like there are any caregivers, so who do you live with?

[it is the most function those things have ever had, but kaiba at least makes a token effort to tempt baxter into going for the towel instead. eventually he answers the question]

It's just my brother and I in the mansion. The cooking and cleaning staff aren't on duty every day.

[The puppy is getting his teeth into the towel, whipping his head back and forth. When he loses his grip, he goes right back to it.]

You inherited it, I'm guessing? Did it come from your step-father?

Yeah. It's gaudy and terrible. But every realtor I've talked to says selling it would be a nightmare. Not too many buyers want some Rococo-inspired monstrosity.

Not that you should act on this, but I have heard of people in your situation having mysterious fires suddenly occur. They didn't seem too heartbroken after the insurance money came in, though.

That's true... I could even rent a truck and bulldoze right through... Mokuba would probably like that.

Well, if you don't need to collect insurance money, that is another option. If the owner is found in fault, there's no payout.

I'd happily pay the money to have it gone. It's probably insured for some obscene amount of money anyway, and bankrupting some insurance company is just the press I need after setting my father's house on fire.
